Crow Greene

Me : Hey Abby

Abby : Hello Crow. Tell me what happened.

Me : I had another episode

A : Can you tell me more?

Me : I was sleeping, I mean I was trying to. I had a nightmare. When I woke up, I could barely breath. I felt the tears falling on my cheeks. Well, I thought these were tears.

A : What did you do then?

Moi : As you told me. I rolled on my side and I spitted the blood. Then I called the guards and they got me here.

Abby was wipping the falling of blood coming from my eyes.

Me : Do you know what it is yet?

A : No, not yet. My daughter would.

Moi : Clarke? They'll never let her out.

A : Bu...

Me : I know we're running out of oxygen. And I won't let you waste some to heal me.

A : But Crow, you need it.

Moi : The others need it more. Take the oxygen that was meant to me and give them more.

A : Who?

Me : The other prisoners.

A : Sorry Crow, I can't do that...

Me : Abby...

A : Take her away.

Moi : ABBY GRIFFIN!! YOU'RE READY TO SACRIFICE YOUR OWN DAUGHTER TO HEAL ME!! THESE TREATEMENTS AREN'T WORKING!!

The guards get me back to my cell and close the door.
I feel the oxygen crossing the room. I get on my feet and run to the door.

Me : I DON'T WANT THAT OXYGEN. WHY DON'T YOU GIVE IT TO THE OTHERS?? OPEN THE DAMN DOOR!!

I get tired and sit against the wall.

?? *through the wall* : Don't bother, they won't open.

Me : Monty?!

?? : No, I'm Clarke but you can call me Monty if you want.

Me : Where is my brother?

C : With the others.

C : Why are you in cell?

Me : Long story...

C : I got all my time.

Me : Have you ever heard of Crow Greene?

C : The one who has an undefined disease? Yeah.

Me : Well it's me.

C : And how did you end up here?

Me : My treatement is about taking a whole bottle of oxygen.

C : Does it work?

Me : No, I don't want to take it so they have to lock me in here.

C : Are you really Monty's sister?

Me : No... I was adopted. My parents are dead...

C : Floated?

Moi : Floated.

Silence. Nobody wanted to speak.

C : My dad was floated too.

Me : He wanted to warn them.

Jack Griffin noticed something wrong in the air filtration system, something he couldn't fix.

You surely wonder how I know all this. Well, it's simple, I know everything.
I have been outta this cell long enough to understand some informations.

C : Yeah...

Me : How old are you?

C : 18 in a few months. What about you?

Me : Same...

Me : We better find a way out of here if we don't wanna end up like our parents.

C : 3 years.

Me : What, 3 years?

C : It's been 3 years I am here and I still haven't found a way out.

Me : Shit...

C : Yep...

Abby *through the door* : Crow, sleep.

Me *to Abby* : If I were else where maybe I'd sleep better!

C : Good night.

Me : Try to sleep too.

I lie in what looks more like a plank than a bed and close my eyes.

My mouth opens letting a last drop of blood fall.

I am woken up by screams that seem to be clarke's.

C : NO! LET ME GO!! I'M NOT 18 YET!! YOU PROMISED...

I get up and hit the door.

Me : What's going on??!!  OPEN UP!!

A guard opens the door and I get out before he can speak.

I see the minor prisoners being taken and brought I don't know where.

Abby goes to her daughter and talks to her wich seems to calm her down.

Me : ABBY! What the hell is going on?

A : They are going to the ground.

Me : I'm going with them.

A : You can't, it's too dangerous.

Moi : You are sending them to their death, I know I'm gonna die but if I can choose, I prefer to die on Earth.

A : I...

?? : Let her go.

A : Chancellor Jaha, it's too dangerous.

Jaha : Go Crow.

Me : Thank you Thelonius.

He smiles and tells the guards something. They come take me, each grabbing an arm and making me follow the others.

They stop, I look at them. One of them puts something in my neck. I cover the wound with my hand. And then, nothing.

Black.
