// SONG INSPIRATION: PROFESSIONAL BY THE WEEKND //
Dressed in a black spandex crop top and leggings with a red plaid Pyrex flannel wrapped around my waist, I await company to arrive.
My hair is up in a messy bun & I'm wearing my favorite gold hoops & little cross necklace. I look at myself in the mirror to see if anything looks out of place... Perfect.
The door bell rings. I look at the clock, Right on time.
I give her my best fake smile as she enters my loft.
"Welcome." I greet warmly as I open the door.
"Why thank you." She replies. Ugh, she sounds faker than I do.
I can't help but stifle a cough as her strong scent of last years Dior perfume occupied the room as she walked past me.
"Please.. Take a seat." I invite her to my couch.
"Ah." She sighs in relief as her ugly ass touches down on the leather.
"Are you hungry? Thirsty? I have some muffins and scones in the kitchen." I offer politely.
"Oh no dear." She assures me.
I smile and sit beside her.
"But if you don't mind." She starts.
Are you fucking kidding me? I just asked if she wanted anything.
I set aside my thoughts and smiled once more, "Yes?"
"Do you have any iced tea?" She asks.
"Of course, flavor?"
"Lemon please."
Of course, sour and cold- like the bitches soul.
"Just a sec." I dismiss myself and walk over to my fridge. I grab a bottle of Tazo lemon tea & a bottle of Voss.
I walk back into the living room and hand Claire her drink. After she mumbled thanks, I opened mine and took a sip. I walked over to my window that gave me a perfect view of the city and pulled the larger curtains aside to view, to my disappointment, summer rain- beautiful yes, but depressing as well.
I look at the rain latching itself onto the glass then look back at my 'guest.'
"Rain is peaceful." I comment blankly, taking a seat next to my agent once more.
"Lets get right to it shall we?" She offers. I nod.
These things are so annoying, I mentally roll my eyes.
"So Miss Armani, as you know a month ago Vanity Fair had you on their magazine cover." She started.
I nod, "I am very aware, as you just said I was on the cover." I tell her, my voice smooth.
"Very good, but ever since then you've been inactive. Is there going to be any new collaborations with any designers or will you be modeling?" She asks, her voice showing signs of frustration.
"First off, I was on vacation- you know, thats what you do during spring break." I point out.
"That doesn't mean you should disappear from public eye! You have to be seen in the public, you need to go to popular vacation spots, get your face out there- something! Not go to Mali." She sneers.
Is this bitch serious?
"Bali. I went to Bali." I correct.
"And I really don't understand what you're point is, I'm paying you aren't I? Thats all you should be concerned with." I scoff, my patience running thin.
