Emma looks at me with wonder.

I reply with " we'll it was a few years ago, I came to this park in the middle of the summer looking for an escape, just to think of course. And I saw this little narrow path. I walked down it and this is where I found it. I've never shown anyone else this spot. It's to special but your special to me too, so I thought I should share this special place with you Emma."

She looks at me and smiles with sparking eyes. I just look down and laugh lightly at how she just loved everything I said.

I ask " how come you are so fascinated in what I say?"

She blushed " because, someone like you is fascinating and I love hearing your voice, it's like chocolate smooth and indulging."

I nod.

Emma says " your special to me too"

I look at her confused " what?''

" you said I was special to you, your special to me to Luke."

As we walk back to my car I intertwine my fingers with hers and Emma rests her head on my shoulder. I sigh and open the trunk to place the blanket, lanterns, and picnic basket into it. I then walk Emma to the passenger side of the car and open it for her to get into it. I walk back around to the driver side and hop in. Emma rested her head into the glass window and her eyelids flutter closed.

I just smile and turn out onto the road. I pull into her apartment. I stop the car and pick Emma up out of my car and into her apartment. I place her on her bed.

she clings to my shirt and mumbles " don't go"

I smile faintly " I won't baby, do you want me too sleep with you or on the couch?"

she mumbles lazily " sleep with me Luke, please? I don't want you to go, I'm scared of losing you"

I say " you'll never lose me, I promise, let me go park my car and I'll come back. "

I cover her in her duvet and plant a small kiss on her forehead. I quickly run out side and park my car. I get back into the apartment and slip my shoes off and walk towards the bed. I slip my shirt and pants off and climb into bed. With a little dip she rolls over and places her head on my chest.

I smile before my eyes close and sleep consumes me.
