To clarify I'm not a TVD writer and I Do not own any of the characters in this book except for Arianna. There will be grammar mistakes, and the book won't be perfect, events will come up possibly just like the show, but they will be some differences, people will be introduced into the story differently as well, the girls already know about vampires, this is moreless when they haven't met klaus yet and they don't know him. :) Hope you enjoy the story!!!!!!!! *Flashback*I Was walking down the dark and lonely alleyway as I Heard a noise creep up behind me and grab me by my shoulders. The dark shadow pushed me up against the wall as I Screamed hoping, praying to get someone's attention. The dim light from across the street barley hit the man's face, for I Couldn't tell who it was but it was enough to see his baby blue eyes staring into mine.
"Don't move, don't scream, this will only hurt for a second" The strange man said.
As much as I Wanted to run and scream.... I Just couldn't. it was almost as if he was controlling me, I Had not movement, I Just stayed there. The man started leaning down, adjusting his lips to my neck, just as I Felt the tips of his teeth scrape against my skin, a flashlight pops up, hitting my face perfectly. "Katherine?" The man said, obviously confused. I Lightly shook my head no as I Was frightened. "Damon, what are you doing out here? Are you two okay?" Yelled a women at the end of the Alley. "Go home, forget this ever happened" said the man, again looking deep into my eyes. As I Slowly started walking away, confused on how I Even got into the alley I Heard a deeper, yet sexy voice say "Ah, sheriff Forbes, my favorite cop, i'm simply just looking for you" the voice started fading out as I Was backing away from the scene. *End of Flashback*
*Time Skip*
I Opened my front door to find my brother making out with some low life on the couch....and by low life, Mean Vicki Donovan.
"Wooooooah, sorry to interrupt the fun, but I Don't want my couch smelling like cat piss, up up!!"
I said with a huge smirk on my face swatting them away. Vicki then turned to me and gave me the ugliest look you can imagine, and not because she was pissed at me, but just because the look she gave me made me feel like I Could smell her breath from a mile away....does that make sense? Jeremy then scoffed at me as he took the "thing" upstairs with him. Now...let's get one thing straight, it hard for me not to like someone, it really is. But I Never really have gotten along with Viki. For one, she sells drugs and was always high, secondly, she looks and smells like she hasn't taken a shower in weeks, and last but not least, she's plainly just a bitch.
Anyways, back to the person you came to read about, I Heard by phone ring in my back pocket. "Dammit I Thought I Put you on vibrate!!" Yelled. "Hello?" is said in a annoyed tone. "Hey, I Know you just got back home and i'm really sorry but could you drive to the Salvatore house for a second? it's important." Elena responded, "Elena I just got my new car I don-" -" "See you in a few." she said right before she hung up the phone. I Rolled my eyes as I Put my phone back in my pocket, grabbed my house key and started opening the door, as I Did a man had his hand up ready to knock on the door. "Hello, love, do you know if Elena is home?" a dirty blond, hot guy asked. "Umm..i'm kinda busy at the moment." I Said trying to walk past him. Just as I Got closer to him he put his arm out in front of me, I Looked down and brought my head slowly up giving him the evil eye. "i'm sorry, but this is very important" he said eyeing me, almost looking into my soul, slightly scaring me. "Whoops, my sincere apologies, are you selling girl scout cookies?" I Said with a bright smirk while pushing his arm down fake pouting. With a smirk on his face he then got closer to me saying " You must be Arianna, i'm Klaus, Klaus Mikaelson" making me shiver he lifted my hand ever so gently kissing the top of it. Klaus then lifted his head up slowly staring into my eyes. "Uh...um..ho- how did you know my name?" I Said slightly freaking out. Klaus then smirked knowing the fact that he was getting to me. Asshole. "I Have my sources" he smiled.
"i'm really sorry, but I Have to go Klaus." I state before walking past him feeling a huge chill take over me. it just didn't feel right. I Opened the driver's side door to my car, sit down, and start the car. Just as I Was about to shut my door, Klaus yelled, "I Hope we can meet again sometime soon Arianna..." Turned to him to see a smirk. "Uh...yeah, me to!!" I yell while closing my door.
*Time Skip* (Chapter 2)
"What took you so long? Damon asked with a confused but slightly worried face. "Umm....some guy Was talking to, that's all, anyways, who is this chick?" I Asked "This is rose, she has some information I think you need to hear." Stefan started with a worried glance. "Awww did Damon get a new sleeping buddy? if you wanted me, all you had to do was ask." I Said with a bright smirk. Damon then just rolled his eyes. Rose looked between me and Damon feeling the tension between us.
Okay, so let me explain this to you. Me and Damon Salvatore used to be a thing. We were not exactly together, but everyone assumed we were. I Don't blame them though, we were very close.
"So, there is this ancient guy named Klaus that used to track down and follow Katerina Petrova, apparently, she ran away from him and he slaughtered her whole family." Rose stated.
"And that has to do with us how...?" I ask entirely confused on why she was here at this very moment. "Well, Klaus wants to have a army of hybrids to protect, and serve him at all times. in order to do that he needs to have a sacrifice." she informed us with a small pause "That sacrifice includes the doppelganger of Katerina Petrova."
"So...you're basically saying the oldest vampire of all time wants me dead?" Asked the clueless Gilbert. Stefan walked over to Elena. While grabbing her hand he said "Listen, for all we know Klaus could just be a fairy tale." The short hair headed girl then stated "Oh he is definitely real, and he will be here sooner than you think."
Damon then looked at Elena worriedly while saying "We won't let anything happen to you, have you seen anything out of the ordinary?" "Not really..." she answered looking between both of the boys.
"Actually....the reason why I Was held up was because a guy named Klaus was asking for you...but it wouldn't make sense, he was too nice, he was such a gentlemen..."
"Maybe that was what he was trying to do, trying to impress you so you wouldn't suspect anything at the moment.." Rose said. I Then started reminiscing the weird feeling I Felt when I Was with him. "When I Was with him I Got this weird feeling though, it was a slight attraction but like a dangerous feeling." i said. I looked over to Damon as he rolled his eyes. I gave him a confused look but he just ignored me. No. This isn't fair, he can't be wanting to be with Elena but want to suddenly get jealous because I laid my eyes on a stranger.
"Whatever you do, just stay away from him, it's a huge coincidence. There isn't anyways it all just a misunderstanding." stated Rose.
"And suddenly you care about our safety, why? We just met? And didn't you kidnap my sister? It's hard to keep up" I say with a bit of a smirk.
"Because, your sister is a doppelganger, and you are the closest thing to her, he could easily kill you. If anything I could use you for leverage." Rose responded trying to get under my skin with a cringey, not so suddle smirk.
"We could only hope and pray." I said back with a big, sarcastic smile.
" We need to look out for him and keep Elena safe." Stefan pointed out, trying to change the subject. Although I rolled my eyes annoyed at the thought of Elena being so perfect ot them.
'I can take care of myself." Elena commented back.
"You say that now until I have to go in and save your ass." I snark towards Elena trying to piss her off.
As she rolled her eyes we heard a knock on the door. Everyone stared down at me.
"Alright Alright, you guys are all giving me mental headaches chill out." i sigh while rolling my eyes and getting up from the not so comfortable couch.
As I started walking towards the door, i could feel my heart pounding, almost as if it was gasping for air. I stop when I hit the door and second guess whether or not I should open it.
