CHAPTER ONE:

~Amelia's POV~

when I wake up I go to eat breakfast. after that I grab my stuff and go out into the never ending year-round snow.

when I reach the train I see my twin, Ari, is already here.

me: "hay."

Ari: "hay sis. I can't was

wait for the test! you?"

me: "I'm a little nervous. you?"

Ari: "well yeah. it may tell us to leave mom and dad."

me: "yeah."

I don't want to stay in Ice. I know for a fact it's not my element. but I don't want to leave home either. I'm scarred I'll be told I'm fire or something really.

when the train shows up we get on and watch as we leave the gates of Ice and the surrounding tarain turns from snowy and cold to a grass field.

then we reach central.

as we exit the train we head for the main building. that's where the test takes place.

when we get there we sit down in the hall for ice. there calling five at a time.

Ari is in the group before mine.

when I go for my test I'm sent into a simulation room where I'm put in several situations.

First simulation: I have to create peace between two fighting army's.

I pass.

Second simulation: I must cure a disease using Science.

I pass.

Third simulation: I have to make something completely out of metal.

I pass.

Fourth simulation: I must make a winning battle plan.

I pass?

Fifth simulation: I must judge a trial and deliver the correct judgement.

I pass?

Sixth simulation: I must take apart and put back together an appliance but improve it to.

I pass?

Seventh simulation: I must grow a crop.

I pass?

Eighth simulation: I must hunt a buck.

I pass?

Ninth simulation: I must lead a group thru a forest filled with dangers.

Tenth simulation: I must make a working weapon.

Eleventh simulation: I must gather information on an unknown item.

I pass?

Twelfth simulation: well it's Literature so you take a guess.

I pass?

I passed all of them? how?

the guy that runs the simulation comes up to me....

guy: "well. you are the first of your kind that's for sher. I suggest you go with fire though. you'll fit in there better than anywhere. I promise."

ok. he's obviously Amtec.

as I leave I go to the main hall where the children that are done with there test and the families of all the kids go.

when every one is here Mikale, are leader, announces are zones. me of course as fire. Ari is apparently Water. cool.
