Five Nights at Sylvesters (lol have no other name)

Chapter 9

            Driving home, Monica checked her phone. She knew that she shouldn't, but she opened her texts, seeing a text from Adrian's number. "Hey, sorry for that... the outbreak,  i guess, at Sylvester's today, i was, just, really, blinded, by anger?? If you could say that. i mean, we did go to the place where tyler went missing, monica... u do have to understand that, u know.."  Monica shut down her phone, and looked back at the road, driving back to her house.

            Almost at the exact moment she closed her door, her mom rushed over to her, frantically asking where she had been. Monica told her she had gone a party, then went out to eat. Her mom grabbed her shoulders. "For almost 12 hours? Monica, you left at 7 in the morning, and it's almost 5 now!" Monica looked at her phone's clock. Woah, she thought. It was 4:30 p.m. She hadn't known she had been at Sylvester's for so long. The dinner... she was only at the restaurant for a half hour, and the rest of the time, she had been at the bakery. She pushed away from her mom, walking up her stairs, saying to her mom, "It was a nice party, okay?" And plopping down onto her bed, ready to reply to her Adrian's text. She replied with, "Hey, ya sorry i was driving, yep its fine, i understand lol :)))" She shut her phone off, and layed down, looking at her ceiling. Slowly, she drifted off to sleep.
