Rose's POV

When we reached the palace I was stunned by its beauty it had a huge garden and the flowers were a treat to watch. I was still admiring the beauty when a man came to us and asked us to follow him.

"Vin everything is so beautiful" I spoke happily."Not as beautiful as compared to you" Vin spoke causing me to blush.We soon reached a big door and the man showing us the way spoke "You may enter the room" he opened the door for us and we saw a big throne on which a woman sat who wore a big tiara on her head and looked extremely gorgeous she looked no more than 25 probably the Queen.

She got down of her throne and came and hugged me and spoke "You have no idea how much I have missed you and wanted to see you my princess".Although I had a million questions to ask her but on hearing her say that my heart melted and I too hugged her after all she was my mom the one who kept me in her womb for nine months.

After she hugged me she looked towards Vin and spoke "You must be Alpha Vincent Rose's mate"."Yes Queen and we both are obliged to meet you"Vin spoke and kissed on Queen's hand "You don't need to be formal with me just treat me like your mother and come and have a seat"she spoke and we followed her.We soon reached a big table on which various dishes were laid.

"Sit down you both"she spoke and we both sat down.After the dinner was laid I spoke "Queen I am thankful for you sweet gesture but I would like to know the answers to my questions for which I have came here".

Everything went quiet for a few seconds and then Queen spoke "To answer your questions I would like to tell you a story when I got the news that I was pregnant I was extremely happy me and your dad were extremely happy finally we were going to have a kid and soon you were born but on the night you were born several packs made an alliance and attacked us and your father King George died after which I had to give you to our trusted Alpha Robert he grew you up as his own daughter I wanted to take you back but I knew I couldn't take proper care of you because I had Queen's duties also I wanted to look after you but for the sake of your safety I had to stay away from you" tears welled in her eyes as she spoke and then I hugged her

"But there is more to the story few months back Matthew got to know that you are my daughter and he knew that if he marries you he would get the whole kingdom and he would become the ultimate King so he asked his dad to fix his wedding with you but Vincent killed him and you found your mate so now he wants to marry you forcefully"she spoke and then became quiet.

Now that I knew why she had left me I was satisfied then I spoke "I understand that it is not your fault that you had to leave me".She looked happy and she kissed my forehead and then spoke "I am so proud of the girl you have become but now let's eat the food" then we ate our food and after we ate our food Vin and I went into a guest room.
