Hot sun shines through the window hitting my eyes I roll over in attempts to get back to sleep.
"get up, we have training" a familiar voice said from the door way.
"I'll be there give me a minute to get ready" I reply.
"fine" Aria said leaving my room. I get up from the old mattress on the floor sighing, I start to get ready.
I live on the Aureum side of town I didn't chose to be apart of it, I was just born over here. Everyone in Aureum seems to fit into a stereotype one that I can't relate to, I'm not; brave, adventurous or outgoing but I have no choice I can't betray my people and Angelus would never listen to someone from Aureum. I finished getting ready and headed to the public room of our dorm.
"there you are" Aria said her signature red lollypop in her mouth.

"well lets go" I said starting to walk to the ring.
We have been training for the annual fight between houses, soon they will be picking competitors. I've never liked fighting but Aria says I'm good at it so I'm trying to get picked.
"hey" we hear someone say from the other side of the room.
We see who it is, Luna the champion fighter for our house she's currently in the number one pick of fighters.

"hey" Aria and I replied.
"my partner bailed on me mind if I join?" Luna asked.
"yeah, you two should get in the ring together" Aria said ushering to me.
I was shocked Aria volunteered me but I understood why I needed the experience if I wanted to make it through try outs. Luna entered the ring and we started to fight punch after punch I dodged most of her attacks and after a while I delivered a final punch that knocked her down, winning. Luna spit her mouth guard out and stood up.
