"And, with all this chaos happening around,

I fell in love with the silence of the upcoming storm."

Abigail  White

I looked at the narrow road which takes you to the village. I don't have a vehicle yet and I don't know anyone except the lady Rasa, who will be helping me out with my new home. I looked around for someone to help me. It would be difficult if I didn't find any help before sunset.

A man who must be in his mid-thirties came to pick up his wife. I decided to ask him for help. "Hello," I started and they both turned to look at me. "Hello?"

"I'm new here and I don't have any ride. Could you please drive me into the village?" I asked him politely. "Of course, you can sit in the back."

"Thank you! I'm Abigail Mr..?"

"Martin Hutcherson, she is my wife Lara Hutcherson." I smiled at the woman, who gave me a polite smile. I placed my backpack before getting into the car. Martin started the drive. We didn't talk for a while before Lara broke the silence.

"Not to be rude, are you a tourist? I mean you don't seem to be like a tourist?" she turned in her seat to get a better view of me.

"Hmm, no I'm not a tourist." Both of them shared a look. "If you were not a tourist, what would you be doing in the village?"

"I― I will be living in the village for a period." I waited for them to say something.

Martin had to stop the vehicle at the checkpoint. I got out of the car and showed my documents to the officers. They gave me the written permit. After getting my documents and permits, I stepped back into the car. "You were saying you are going to stay here for the time being?" Martin asked.

"Yes." He hummed, but Lara gave me a puzzled look. "Why are you staying here?"

"I heard so much about this village and the village name itself is different, which made me more curious," I told them honestly. The first time I heard the village name from my grandma I was very interested in knowing about it.

Like seriously, who names a village name "Ravenswood territory?"

The couple laughed "Yeah, we get that response from many tourists. But you are going to enjoy it here. If you need anything, you can contact us. We live next door," Lara said.

"Ohh, that would be helpful for me."

"Yeah, my daughter would be so excited to have a neighbour." Lara chuckled. "She always wanted someone of her age as a neighbour."

"What's her name?"

"Aiyna and she is in high school along with her brother Allen."

"Good to hear it," I said, not knowing what to say.

Rasa, the lady who is going to work for me, showed me the whole house. I was astounded when I saw the house. It's a two-story brick house, it has a warmness which made me feel at home. Everything was perfect, it had that old village aura with bits of modern style. I loved the house and mainly my bedroom. It is on the second floor. There is a huge window which shows the backyard as well as the path to the woods. From there I could see the castle.

Rasa told me only a few people got the chance to meet the Royal family. If any outsider meets the Royal Authorities, it becomes confidential. They are not allowed to share any kind of details regarding the authorities.

Rasa is a sweet lady who is in her mid-thirties. She lives with her husband and children. Her husband works in the castle.

She helped me with all my luggage and things. Everything had already shifted, so there wasn't much work for me. I just decorated my room with my things and postcards once Rasa left.
