dear diary,

hey sisters, james charles here and welcome back to my diary. a lot of tea has happened since i last wrote here and by a lot of tea, i mean the sister squad. you know my best friends in the whole entire world? and my dearest diary, this is the story of how the sister squad fell apart... all because of too many secrets.

emma's pov

"happy birthday, babe," my boyfriend ethan greeted, kissing me on the forehead and handing me a bouquet of purple flowers. the thing about us dating is that his fans and my fans don't know about it. obviously, they have their theories and we try to ignore any questions we get about "ethma" or if we're dating anyone. it would be nice though if we didn't have to hide in our houses everytime we want to kiss and every date has to be chinese food takeout but we take what we can get.

"thanks, e," i reply, taking the flowers.

i make my way into the kitchen, pulling out a vase and filling it with water, plopping the flowers in.

"what other surprises do you have for me?" I grinned, leaning up to give him a kiss.

"well, there's this really nice restaurant on hollywood boulevard and i just so happened to make a reservation in one of their best private rooms so..." he smirked, raising his eyebrow. "the only catch is i get to pick out what you wear." I rolled my eyes and followed him up to my room.

making ethan wait downstairs, i put on the silky red dress he picked out and combed my hair out lightly.

i put on a light coat of mascara, some concealer and the gucci shoes ethan had bought me for the youtube video we did on james' channel. i went downstairs and to my surprise, ethan was in a suit, something i've never seen him wear before.

i look him up and down giving him a flirtatious stare as i say, "you clean up nicely, dolan".

"and i don't have such a bad taste in dresses either now do i?"

"well, you do know it's the model that makes the outfit right?" i say as i raise my eyebrows.

"i love having a cocky girlfriend." he tries to keep his face straight but ends up bursting into laughter.

i stare at him, entranced by the beautiful man standing in front of me. he took my hand, planting a light kiss on it and escorted me to the car waiting outside for us.
