As I jerked awake to the sight of Christina sitting at the foot of my bed shaking my leg. I screamed in shock.
"Dani?! What's wrong?" She rubbed my leg. I wouldn't stop screaming until Christina had to come over and hug me.
"Dani, calm down. Everything is going to be alright." Christina gave me a reassuring smile as she rubbed my back. "D-don't hurt me." I managed to spit out three words.
Christina pulled away from me. "Dani, I'm your oldest sister. I won't hurt you. I'll always be here for you Dan."
I don't know what happened but I leaned forward and hugged Christina again. This time I hugged her really tight.
I think I stopped her from breathing because I couldn't hear her breath so I let go a bit and managed to let her breath again.
I had a mini heart attack. I had a nightmare. It was about a scary monster trying to hurt me.
Ya, I'm pretty sure that sums up why I was so frightened. "I'm sorry, I had a nightmare. About a monster." I apologized and looked down at my feet.
Christina kissed my forehead and gave me a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I'll never hurt you, I love you" Christina made me look up and smile at her beautiful face.
I climbed down from my bunk bed . "I love you" I said to her. She responded with the same words.
We walked downstairs together. Well not really, she picked me up, so I technically floated down the stairs.
When we got to the bottom, I smelled bacon. I squirmed out of Christina's arms and ran to the kitchen.
Bacon... Mmmm... Sitting on the table, smoking hot. Bacon and eggs=BAE!
I went to grab a piece of bacon when someone grabbed my wrist and told me to stop.
