He continued to wander through this unfamiliar city. Nobody knows where he is now. He was no exception. Most of the people in the city weren't real anyway, so nobody there would've known who he was or would've exposed him. He continued to stroll around. Anyone who knew him would've found it odd he was just strolling. However, he seemed to enjoy it. He'd never felt so free, or alive. Of course, that wasn't too surprising.

He had died. He was grateful for the second chance he was given to walk again, to be able to live. During his time in this world, he accomplished many things. He'd made amends with his killers, he was one of the Storm Riders to have helped Kazu control the dark flames and he got to see the sky again. In his lifetime, he never got a chance to touch the sky. He was envious of the simulation he created to train Kogarasumaru in case he died.

His simulation, not being real could only watch as the Storm King granted everyone a chance to fly with him. He'd carried them on his wings. It had really hurt him, but he expected something like this to happen. It was why he created that simulation. In this world, he could be as free as he wanted, but it wasn't the same. It could never be. He just kept wondering...

Spitfire: (What would it have been like to fly?)

He then put it at the back of his mind.

Spitfire: (Hmm. It's guaranteed I'll never get the chance to find out. So, why dwell on it?)

He'd always been on the ground. Why not stay there?

Abandoned Building...

He then reached what appeared to be an abandoned building. He decided to enter. As he'd reached floor 19, he stopped to notice one of the doors was open. He decided to find out why it was this specific door out of the 94 other doors he'd past. They were all closed apart from this one. He didn't have any reason to check it out. He just wanted to have a little fun. He walked into the room. What he saw really surprised him.

For a dilapidated building, he didn't expect any room to be so clean. It was rather odd. After seeing such a clean state, the first thought that came to his mind was that someone was living here. He then heard a loud tap. The bar that was attached to a pair of translucent blue curtains was all over the place. Behind it was an open door. The door led to a balcony. He walked towards it. Moving the curtains out of his way, he stepped out.

Balcony...

He looked around. Looking up, he realised he was on the second last floor. He walked over to the edge in front of him. He could barely see anyone below him. The colour of the sky was a cross between orange and blue. The sun was setting. He decided to gaze at the sky he never got a chance to reach. The world he was in might've been different, but the sky was exactly the same. It always was unique. That made it much more beautiful. He watched as a cloud went by. He followed it with his eyes.

While following it, he saw something. He was now looking at the right edge of the balcony when that something caught his attention. He saw what looked like a woman. Perhaps she owned the apartment he was now in. He walked over to the right edge of the balcony. She seemed to be watching the sky too. She was so taken by it that she didn't seem to notice him coming. As he got closer, he realised it was someone he knew, a friend of his to be exact. He continued to move closer, still undetected. The woman was still gazing out. Nothing seemed to disturb her from sky gazing.

Spitfire: Mind if I join you?

The woman turned around, recognising him instantly. He smiled at her. She wasted no time returning it.
