The Mask

The mask for my broken and tainted feelings is pretending I have none

The mask for my sadness is a fake smile and false happiness

The mask for my tears is the running water of the shower

The mask for the love I have for people is portraying myself as a stone cold corpse

The mask for my heart is a distasteful attitude

The mask is never the issue it's the qualities and struggle of the person behind it
Fixing ones self results in the permanent disqualification for the use of a mask
