A thing that gives you joy,
A thing that makes you cry
A thing that gives you life,
A thing that hurts you as knife
A thing that makes you expect,
And in return asks for respect,
Of the person who you love,
To fly from it as a dove
It is a thing very complicated,
Which sometimes makes you devastated
It is a thing that dwells in people's chest,
A Human Heart it is known by the rest
