jinyoung's pov (fINALLY)

i can't afford to lose her again. seeing kang daniel like this made me feel like he's serious with his feelings for her.

he loves her.

i took her hand and dragged her away from there but something bugging me.

she was trembling. i could feel it.

she really liked him.

but i want her back. even though she can't remember me anymore. i thought she would recognize me when we met at the cafe that day but she didn't.

"her- um hey, jinhee. are you okay ? you're shaking"

she looked at me with her teary eyes and smiled.

"i'm good. thanks for helping me"

i nodded and slowly.

i took her to the nearest bench and we sat there for like 5 minutes without talking until i decided to break the ice.

" you know what, if you want to tell me something or need my help, just call me. maybe i could help? " i said, looking straight into her eyes, tryna gain her trust.

"yer a wizard, jinhee" i tried to throw some harry potter puns but you know she just bitterly smiled and hung her head. "damn that's so lame wtf?" i thought in my mind.

then, she chuckled and facepalmed herself.

"i really hate harry potter though" she shook her head, still smiling widely.

"why?" i asked.

i know exactly why she hates harry potter but i just asked her so that we won't be awkward each other and had some topic to discuss (?) i don't know. i just love her voice so much. i could listen to it all day without getting bored.

"but...harry potter is life!" i added, frowning my brows as she looked at me.

"you see, kim jinhee is not my real name actually. i beg my mom to change my name" she started.

i gasped so hard which surprised her.

my acting sucks but i need to.

"why do you change your name ? and how is it connected to the topic we were talking about earlier?" tryna make less obvious that i already know about it, i drew my brows together.

"i never talked about this before but lemme tell you some"

"my real name is....hermione kim and i hate my mom for that!" she said and facepalmed her face once again.

i smiled widely, knowing that she was so embarrassed because she just told me her biggest secret.

"i love your name" i muttered which made her head turned and face me with wide eyes.

"uh dude, that's sounds so familiar" she said.

a week past by.

grey still thinking about jinyoung who reminded her of someone but she couldn't remember his face. his voice and the way he told her he loves her name just sounds so familiar to her.

she got visions when she heard jinyoung told her that but the thing was she didn't see the guy's face.

it was stressful day for her.

she walked into the cafeteria, scanning the whole place looking for chani. remember? the guy in charge of the office when she got her package? they kinda became closer after that day.
