I was shocked Liam had raised his voice, I've never heard him shout before. He took in deep and shaky breathes and sighed. He looked down at his feet and fiddled with his fingers. "I'm sorry I yelled.." He quietly said before bolting out the door. 'What just happened?' Lia said, confused. I sat down on the bed and put my face in my hands, sighing.
What just happened? I questioned. 'I have no idea..' Lia said, shocked. I sat down on the bed and or my face in my hands. I got up and started to try and find him. I walked around the house and couldn't find him. I decided to go on a jog to get my mind off of it.
Life would change in a few minutes
I started jogging around the woods and started running fast and faster. I wasn't expecting it when it happened, but I felt a sharp pain in my arms and legs. I stopped and looked down to see blood gushing from my arms and legs where there were gun shots. 'Fuck' I muttered under my breath.
I collapsed to the ground and crawled to a tree to try and hide behind. This can't happen again! I called for help but no one responded. The girl who shot me had long dark brown hair and mesmerizing blue eyes. I growled at her. She seemed shocked for some reason. I ignored it and transformed, running through the pain in my leg.
I reached the house and stumbled in, leaving a blood trail. Nurses and doctors rushed to my side and patched up my leg. I walked up the stairs and into my bedroom, I closed the door and threw myself on the bed. Ugh, I can't move my leg for months now!
'Eden, don't be idiotic. I can heal you.' Evelyn said. My leg healed and I could move it again. 'Thanks, Evelyn.' I said. I walked down the stairs and got some food.
I looked out the window and saw that same woman who shot me in the leg. I rushed out the door and growled loudly at her. She looked shocked and looked at my leg.
"How did you heal so fast?" She asked, her voice shaky. "Do you know who I am?" I said, glaring at her. She raised her eyebrow. "Do you know who I am?" She said. I let my eyes flash red and snarled at her.
"That doesn't scare me!" She yelled. I let my eyes go back to sky blue and raised my eyebrow. I slightly laughed and let my wings, ears, and tail show. Her eyes widened and stood up straight. "Is your mother dead?" She suddenly asked.
"Uh, Why?" I questioned. "Answer!" She yelled. "Okay, yeah she is." I said. She shook her head. "No, I am not." She said, tears streaming down her face. I raised an eyebrow. "Oh my little ember, I faked my death to hide from the world.." she said, tears streaming down harder.
My eyes widened as tears started streaming down. "Mom?" I said, crying. I rushed up to her and hugged her tightly. "I need to tell dad!" I said, starting to open the portal, but she grabbed my arm. "Mom, what's wrong?" I said, standing straight up.
"Your brothers dad threatened your life if I didn't fake my death and hide from your father." She said, sorrowful. My eyes flashed red when she said that. "I need to have a talk with Mathew, He made me believe you were dead." I said, eyes fully red now.
I rushed through the woods, flying past trees while my mom followed in wolf form. We reached their house and I broke the door down.
"Mathew!" I yelled through the house, my body bursting into flames. Anthony looked at me, shocked. "Where the fuck is Mathew." I said, Evelyn breaking through my voice. He pointed to the guest room and I rushed in there, mom followed behind me.
"Mathew, I'm gonna fucking kill you!" I yelled at him. He looked at me in sheer terror. I lunged at him and pinned him to the ground. I punched him in the face many, many times.
He had two black eyes and a bloody nose, but I wasn't done there. I kept punching until he coughed up blood and lost 3 teeth. My mom pulled me off him and made me face her.
I was taller than her so I looked down at her. "Let's go my little ember." She said in a soft, kind voice. I turned around and gave Mathew one last kick before walking out the door.
We walked through the woods and I stopped in my tracks. I looked at my mom and put my arm on her. I opened the portal and lead her through. I walked into dads room. "Dad, guess who I came across." I said and pulled moms arm from behind me. He looked up in shock.
"H-Hati?" He said, shocked. She nodded her head. We all hugged each other, thankful for our family being together.
When I went home I saw something that scarred me.
I walked through the door ready to announce that my mom wasn't dead. I opened my eyes ready to shout but froze. There was Liam kissing Miki. "Wow, you're a great mate, aren't you?" I said, sad and angry at the same time. He seemed shocked and pushed Miki to the ground. "What the hell!?" He shouted.
"It wasn't how it looked!" He yelled. "Oh really? I'm pretty sure there isn't an explanation needed." I said, tears streaming down my face.

We walked in the house and my little Ember stopped and looked at s guy pushed up on the wall being kissed. Eden yelled at him, I then realized he was her mate. She rushed up the stairs crying and slammed the door. I glared at him.
"What the hell did you do to my little ember?" I said, mad he did that to my poor daughter. "I didn't! She kissed me herself! I never kissed back!" He shouted. I raised my eyebrow.
"Really?" I questioned. I groaned. "Who the hell is this bitch?" I said, glaring at the girl on the ground. "Excuse me? I'm a beautiful young lady. Who are you? An omega?" She said.
"You think you can say that to your former queen?" I said, glaring at her. She froze and looked terrified.
