Detective Bunny

Chapter 1

  Daniel Bibbits pushed open the office window and breathed in the morning air. The sun shone brightly through the trees which shaded his building. Birds chirped as they overlooked the happy children on their way to school or the frantic businessmen storming across the streets with their black shiny briefcases, glancing at their watches every few seconds.
  The door behind him spun on it's hinges. It was Dexter.
"Oh, hello Dexter." Daniel said. "What you got there? " Dexter held up a pink box with big words. Dexter spoke the same words on the box.
"Doughnuts?" Dexter beamed.
 

Daniel and Dexter were the best detectives the world had to offer. Their skills were simply superb. All the thinking involved seemed like nothing to them. The criminals don't stand a chance. With those sharp eyes and machine-like brains, the duo sent the guilty to where they belong.

"Behind bars."

Daniel looked up from his coffee as Dexter read off the front page of the newspaper. "They caught him? They caught Jerald?" That was one weight of his shoulders. Jerald was a serial killer that had recently committed about 16 murders. He was finally where he belonged.
  Dexter sipped his coffee and chomped on a doughnut. "This strawberry's good innit'?"
Daniel just sighed.

  Recently, Dexter have been pretty distant. Even now that their just eating breakfast, there's was something about him. Daniel didn't know what. He ignored the thoughts and started his routines beside the phone, waiting for those incoming cases. --It was just that. Blood, body bags,yellow tape, cameras, murder, murder, and murder. It never stops. Britian will never find peace... Just then, the phone rang.
  Daniel picked up the phone. "Hello? Ok... Yes. We're coming. Daniel gave Dexter a slight nod and with that, the two boys got into the car and drove to the scene.
