Joe's POV
I stood nervously whilest watching Danny and Amy happily walk off towards the balcony where Claudia was stood. I knew who I wanted to be my dance partner. Her bright red hair had caught my eye on numerous occasions. She had the most perfect smile I had ever seen in my life. Dianne Buswell was the one I wanted.
"He is an internet sensation, with millions of followers, but will he be a hit on the dance floor? It's Joe Sugg!" shouted Tess Daley, enthusiastically.
This was it... the moment I had been waiting for...
I was so distracted that I couldn't focus on what Tess was saying. All I had on my mind was Dianne.
Tess was asking me questions about my fans and how they felt about me going on Strictly but I couldn't seem to get my words out.
"They're excited to make some memes out of me" I said. I don't know why I said that. She must have thought of me as a right idiot.
"You're about to meet your dance partner. The girl who'll be keeping you inline, when you're not online is..." Tess began.
The music began. That terrifying Strictly music. I was seconds away from finding out who my dance partner was.
Dianne's POV
Tess was about to read out who was going to be Joe's partner. Out of all the celebrities, he was the one I wanted. There was just something special about him. He is just the funniest guy I have ever met. We would have such a laugh together. We're already like best friends and I want to get to know him more as a friend. Nothing more. I'm already in an amazing relationship with Anthony.
"It's Dianne" Tess called.
Yes!! It's me!!
Joe's POV
I couldn't believe it. I just laughed; I din't know what else to do. I saw her running towards me and as she drew nearer I picked her up and spun her round.
I heard Tess say that we looked great together and my heart raced. The next thing I knew Dianne was instructing me on how to be in hold and moving my neck and head so that they were in the correct position.
Dianne's POV
We had just finished talking to Tess and we were on our way to go and celebrate on the balcony with Claudia. I couldn't believe it. Me and Joe are going to be the best of friends. I can already tell.
*1 hour later after the show had finished and everyone had gone back to their dressing rooms*
I was in my dressing room, taking off my makeup when I heard a knock on the door.
"It's open. Come in!" I shouted. I was shocked to see that it was Joe who had knocked on the door, with a huge bouquet of flowers. He had his famous grin on his face that all of hus fans adore.
"Joe, hey! I wasn't expecting you here!" I said
"Yeah, I know. I just wanted to say I'm looking forward to spending all this time with you and hopefully doing well in the competition. These flowers are just a good luck gift from me" Joe said sweetly. He giggled a bit and hugged me.
"Wow, thanks Joe, I'm looking forward to getting to know you. See you at rehearsal" I said.
We said our farewells and Joe left. I left shortly after as I wanted to get a good nights sleep before the early start tomorrow. I knew Anthony wasn't going to be in as he was filming late for his show, Emmerdale, so I knew I would have the house to myself, a good opportunity to get some rest.
