Georgina "George" Witherstone was a girl who you would consider lucky: she was born into a rich, well-known and respected, pureblood family, what's not to love? Apparently a lot if you were George.

See, whilst George's parents - Irene and Wilfred Witherstone - along with her obviously favoured younger brother Hugo were preaching about how superior purebloods were to "mudbloods" and "halfbreeds", George was quiet; wondering why she was stuck with such a loathsome family and how on earth she could get out of this particular situation without physical or verbal nastiness.

Both fortunately and unfortunately (for the same reason), her family did not yet know how differing their opinions were. They were always sure to ask for George's opinion on the matter, and seemed to ignore or not notice her deep discomfort and awkwardness whenever she stuttered out a "well, obviously purebloods are better than... them." George had a thing about not saying the slurs her family were, she often joked to herself that she was allergic to such words.

Thankfully that was all her family seemed to want from her in these conversations, so she could sink back into her seat and go back to plotting her escape.

Of course, as stories like these go, everything had to be broken apart and ruined. Which leads us to the beginning of the story...

So, this is the first story I've written/published so sorry if it isn't great. I'm attempting to make stuff semi true to the times (ie slang, clothes, music etc) but uuuuh please allow me to not always have that stuff down, it's difficult.

I've already written a load of stuff that I'll probably smush into one chapter so I'll have to write stuff very quickly, but oh well. This'll be a very gay book (wow really) so uuuuh go gay!
