After what happened with Gen that morning . The day went as normal as it could get for April . She hang out with Lara Jean at lunch . After school , Peter and April went to the cafe to grab some milkshake. Everything was okay .
Until she got home that is . As soon as she got home she could tell something was not right. Amara was in the kitchen stable staring into space and if you could closer you could see her eyes were puffy red and her dad just looked beyond frustrated.
"What's going on?" April asked as she entered the kitchen making their heads turn to look at the youngest Evans .
Before her dad you say anything, amara beat him to it .
"Mom's back ." Amara said quickly in almost a whisper .
A million thoughts were in April's head as soon as those words left the elders mouth. April felt like she couldn't breathe.
"Is she here ?." April asked as she look around for the elder woman. Before any of them could answer , a woman came into the view making the blonde to start to breath heavily.
"oh there she is ! My little princess!" Evelyn gushed as she made her way over to the youngest Evans and gave her a hug .
But I didn't last long before April practically pulled away from her mother and gave her a pissed off look.
"A-Are you serious right now ?" April said in disbelief as she stared down at the woman in front of her .
"What ?"
"Are you fucking serious!? You are literally are going to stand there and pretend like everything is okay when you know damn well it isn't ." Amara said angrily.
"Well , that's not fair ! Your mother may not been around that much but .." Frank started making the Evan sisters looking at him with a pissed expression.
"But !? There is no but . She left you ! She left us !" "The blonde screamed as her eyes started to water. Evelyn just looked down ashamed.
April couldn't believe this . Did her mother really expected to be back and for everything to be normal . Like it nothing change,as she did leave them for some billionaire .
""Can we all please just talk about this ." Evelyn begged making the blonde shook her head .
"You think you can come in and out of my life like if I am some fucking train station. Well I'm not ; so I suggest you start packing your bags ." With that April left the Evans household.
*** Peter Kavinsky was currently in his living room playing video games . After he and April went to the diner to get some milkshakes . April. That was all the Kavinsky boy could think about recently. It didn't matter what he was doing , he always thought about the beautiful blonde .
And he knows he's not the only one . He could tell by the way she looked at him . The way she constantly look at his lips while he talks . He knew she felt it to . Or at least he hoped .
The doorbell rang making Peter snap out of his thoughts making him look at the door confused. It was around nine o clock ,who could possibly be .
Peter was confused to see a familiar blonde at his front porch . As Peter looked at the blonde , he couldn't help but notice how April's eyes were puffy red a sign that the girl have been crying her eyes out .
The Kavinsky boy couldn't help but wonder . Was she okay ? And most importantly how did she know where he lived .
"April ,are you okay ? "Peter asked concerned as he stared at the blonde in front of him .
Instead of answering him , the Evans girl just stared at the boy a few seconds before grabbing his face and crashing her lips onto him .
