"Come on, Adam and Alexis are waiting on you," I murmured, nudging Jade towards the car.

"I don't want to leave without you," she whimpered, leaning down to kiss me.

I sighed and poked her arm, the one carrying her suitcase. "It's just a week."

"Exactly. That's seven whole days without you. We haven't been apart for more than a couple hours in over a year," she protested, her hand gently brushing the loose hairs away from my face. "I think I'm having separation anxiety."

"Can't you just call me?"

She slumped forward, pulling me into a fierce hug. "Adam wants to confiscate my phone so that I stay focused."

I chuckled sympathetically, running my fingers through her soft curls. "Aww babe, it'll be okay, I guess that's for the best. I'll see you at the wedding, right?"

She groaned sadly. "Not until right before we're supposed to walk down the aisle. I don't understand- we're not the ones getting married, why are we suffering too?"

I giggled and shrugged, pulling away to begin walking her towards the car.

Jade was going to Manchester to be a judge on Ru Paul's Drag Race UK. Unfortunately, it was being filmed the week before Leigh-Anne's wedding, meaning Jade would miss out on all the bachelorette fun. I wanted to go with her, but Jade told me to stay and help with the wedding preparations. Tonight, Leigh, Jesy and Katherine were coming around to Jade and I's house to keep me company and start arraging the floral decorations.

As you can see, neither of us was too happy about it.

"I'm sorry baby. I love you," I whispered. "You know I do."

She sighed sadly, pressing her face into my collar bone. "I know, but a month after the wedding we're going on tour . . . and you're not coming."

I nodded slowly, holding back any tears that wanted to spill out. I'd decided not to do this tour with the girls, because someone needed to stay home and look after Katherine and Leigh's babys. Katherine wouldn't be able to do it herself, and since I was the newest member of Little Mix, Simon had let me stay home, as long as I was writing songs for the new album. Except the tour will be almost three months long.

"I know, but let's try not to think about it," I mumbled, looking up to see Adam, Alexis and Claud watching us sadly. I pointed at Jade's suitcase and Adam rushed forward to take it from Jade's other hand, which immediately flew to my waist and pulled me closer. She sighed loudly into my neck.

"I love you," she finally choked, kissing my throat softly.

I bit my lip and rubbed her back comfortingly. "I'm not dying, babe. You'll be back soon."

Jade laughed harshly. "How am I even supposed to sleep without you next to me? I'll tell you- I won't."

"Oh, babe, don't say that," I cooed. "It's going to be just as hard for me too, but we have to do this for our friends, alright? You've made a commitment to Mr. Paul, and Leigh needs help with the wedding. We kind of have to show up."

She sniffled and slowly lifted her head away, straightening up and adjusting her shirt. "You're right. I guess I am overreacting a bit."

I smiled gently and stood on my tiptoes to press my lips gently to hers. "No, you're just absorbing the situation faster than I am. The second you leave, I'm going to be a wreck."

Her frown increased, and her hand reached up to cup the back of my neck. "Don't say that right before I'm about to go, or I'm not getting in that car."
