I asked her, does it look the same?
She gave me that funny look
I smiled, she smiled
I glanced at the mirror
At her, my reflection
I saw dreams
Filled with hopes, smiles
And innocence.

I held my hands towards her
For her to lead me,
But was stuck
By the thin cold silver wall
Of mirror, of my sin, of my guilt
That separated us forever

"It isn't anymore"
She told me, sobbingly
I looked at her, longing
To be her, knowing
I'll never be her
We ran towards each other
Till our fist collided
Smashing the mirror
As I watch her, my innocence,
Fall into a million shiny pieces
On my carpet.
