The party drew nearer. Their voice grew louder, my Padoole laid in wait. I will use the same tactic I've used all the time, kill or injure the human in front, then have them leave. There was a large flash of light. I have been preparing this tactic for quite sometime. First a level 3 flash trap will trigger, then my Blood Padoole will use Feast and attack the player in front. Four screeches resonated, and the Padoole jumped out.

"Padoole! What are they doing here! I thought this was only a C level dungeon!" Said one of the mages, of which I don't care because they are in my (my) dungeon. The Padoole attempted to kill the armored warrior, but failed because their teeth didn't scratch the physical resistance. Oh god, they are getting closer. My Padoole are dying quickly, but then again when they are hit they just turn into magic dust. They are coming down the stairs. When they get to this room, they will find an A rank boss. My Kobold Lord! Now that I think about it, I have nothing to fear. All I need is for them to come into this room so I can kill them and take their gear and money.

"The core should be in this room," I heard their dagger person say. Little did they know, I am in the room after that room, and I placed a treasure chest in the room ahead, which is trapped with a level 8 snaring trap. Hehe.

"This treasure chest is trapped. Relinquish! Oh look! An Intelligent sword! sweet! Hey Bryon do you want this?"

"Sure! I never knew C rank dungeons can drop intelligent weapons, especially with it only having two floors! Then the Kobold Lord appeared, along with the other two Kobolds.

"Guys, there is a Kobold lord with a strong looking spear. Should we get out of here?" The other mage asked. Emerald fled, and the others followed. I noticed that my rank had gone up to rank B now that the adventurers had fled. Ok... so people in the dungeon give me exp. So if there is more people in my dungeon then I will be able to get stronger. I placed newly gained on the herb list, [Mana II Herbs] and [Mana I Herbs] at the entrance. I also placed a snaring trap level three along with some of the herbs. Two goblins with life magic tier two also appeared behind the herbs, waiting to ambush those who got bamboozled by the snaring traps. I placed a couple [Healing I Herbs] around the opposite two hallways on the first floor. A treasure chest, with a kobold with a dagger waiting inside, also appeared in the middle hallway. The treasure chest also had a dagger with [Poison Blade II] and [Self-Mending I].

I also got a monster box, and since I have never used it before, I opened it in the core room. This monster box was tier two or something, so the tiers probably influenced the things I got out of the box? I opened, if you could call using magic to lift things opening, the shiny monster box, which was about four feet, and a small figurine lied inside. There was also a note, which read, "Fire Dragon Infant - Place on ground and say 'Dragon Expansion' to activate. Fire Dragon Infant will be about 2-3 meters in length, have a 4 meter wingspan, and will be 2 feet tall. Watch out for fire breath." Ok... so this is a dragon? The scales were shiny and red, but it didn't look animated. It looked just like one of those human figurines I saw an adventurer drop while inside. I "placed" the figurine on the ground, and repeated the words it said on the note. The figurine started moving and growing, and when the light ended the small figurine had grown into a living replica of itself, but larger. It also huffed fire at me, which just felt like someone breathing on me. That felt weird.

I bought hay for it from the menu, and the dragon decided to make itself a home.

[Learned: Fire Dragon]

Age: Infant

Gender: Female

Strength: 110

Speed: 320

Wisdom: 100

Intelligence: 210

Mana: 550

Known Spells: Fire breath [1 Mana]

Skills: [Fire Magic I], [Fire Resistance V], [Flight I]

Mhm. So that's what a fire dragon can do. I wonder why it's wisdom is so low? I bought another monster box, this time tier III. The box opened, and the box broke because of the sheer size of the figurine. One I finished ripping the box around so I could get to the figurine, I was able to figure out what it was. A massive statue. There was also a note under it. "Boss Gargoyle - Uses life magic, grows to be about 8 meters tall, 3 meters wide. Wingspan 5 meters, can't fly anyways. To activate, chant "Grow stone statue, grow to join my forces. Exit your gate and trot towards me, allow me access to your powers, and you will become stronger than before."

[Learned: Gargoyle]

Danger Level: A

Strength: 730

Speed: 110

Wisdom: 20

Intelligence: 300

Mana: 1000

Known Spells: Root Trap [60 Mana], Leaf Cutter [2 Mana per leaf], Grow Tree [200 Mana], Power Word: Grow [10000 Mana]

Skills: [Life Magic XI], [Hard-Shelled XX], [Intelligence II]

So this is the power of a boss monster. I've only read about them in books that I could get from the menu. They are mega strong, and can respawn. I bought another monster box, tier III, and... I got a goblin?

[Learned: Master Goblin]

Danger Level: C

Strength: 330

Speed: 500

Wisdom: 40

Intelligence: 500

Skills: [Sword Arts III], [Spear Arts III], [Bow Arts III]

So this is just a better goblin? What a waste. I placed the Goblin at the entrance to the 2nd floor, and also placed five regular goblins with it. I remember reading in a book that Kobolds had dragon heritage, so if I have the Kobold Lord riding on my fire dragon, maybe it would unlock the Kobold's true potential and it will turn into a dragon? Or maybe it might just make a stronger bond with the kobold and the dragon.

Emeralds Point of view (this will be like a rare occasion, I just wanted to show what it is like in the city or something)

I walked out of the cave again, in defeat. This time even powerful adventurers aren't able to get pass the boss. A couple days ago the dungeon was only rank F, but now it has a Kobold Lord? That is very surprising. Even so, the rank of the adventurers I brought was rank D. Oh by the way I am a E rank adventurer, apprentice messenger of the Green Elf Clan. I am quick, for my speed is 230. As for ranking, I am 10237th place overall, and 82nd place in my clan. Even so, the clan is pretty small so I have nothing to gloat over. We walked into the adventurer's guild, which had shiny red tiles for the roof and is made of magical wood, the sturdiest of all woods. The floor was glossy white, and hanging from the ceiling was a chandelier made out of titanium. I could tell that all the lights were either light magic based or fire based.

"Hello Hogwrence, did you finish the quest?" I forgot to say that the armored dude name was Hogwrence, the mages names were Olivia and Alexanderie, and the assassin's name was Jubilie.

"Sadly no, there was a Kobold Lord wielding an intelligent weapon, and we aren't powerful enough to fend off against it. We would like to forfeit the quest." said Hogwrence, placing the scroll onto the desk. The receptionist moved the scroll to the side, and started writing a letter.

"What are you writing?" I asked the receptionist.

"A letter, to the solo black-eared swordsman."

"Really? isn't that going a bit too far? All we had to do was beat the boss. All you need is an A rank adventurer."

"Last time I checked, she was an A rank adventurer. Could you send this to her?" she asked, handing me the scroll with another scroll inside, which I could only assume was the dungeon request.
