Chapter two

I got Jordan all set up with day care, after that I went to star bucks and a few other places to fill out job applications. When I was leaving star bucks I saw a familiar face walking in.

"Hey it's Diego right" I asked as I walked over to him

"Oh hey Anna" he said smiling while looking me up and Down

"hey what are you up to" I asked

"Just getting Some coffee then I don't know why what's up" he asked

"Wanna hangout for a little bit? I got two hours till I have to pick Jordan up from day care" I said and asked

"Sure I would love to, do you want a coffee or something?" He asked

"Uhm no thanks I'm good" I said while he ordered his drink

We went outside and just sat and talked, we got to know each other a little bit and we gave each other our phone numbers.

"So is Jordan yours?" Diego asked

"Uhm yeah, I had him three month after my 17th birthday" I said smiling at him

"I'm surprised your able to handle a baby on your one, where is his dad?" Diego said

"He left before I had him so he's not in his life" I said

"I'm so sorry to hear that" Diego said

"Eh it's okay we are doing fine without him, but what about you? What do you do for a living" I asked

"I'm an on going sound cloud rapper, I go by the name lil xan you should check out my music" he said smiling

"I definitely will" I said.

Diego and I talked so much time flew right by, by the time I new it I had to go get Jordan.

"Well I gotta go get Jordan from day care so I'll call or text you some time" I said as we walked over to my car

"Sounds like a plan and tell him I said hi" he said as I got inside my car

We said good bye then I headed over to get Jordan from day care. After I got jordan we went home and I made us something to eat. We watched movies for pretty much the rest of the day. I decided that I'd text Diego and invite him over for dinner.

Anna: hey it's Anna wanna come over for dinner?

Diego: sure what's your addy

I gave Diego my address and like a half an hour later he was here.

"Hey diego" I said as I opened the door

"Hey anna, I brought you flowers and I brought Jordan a toy I hope he likes cars" Diego said smiling

"You didn't have to" I said as Diego walked inside

"But I wanted to, where is Jordan anyways?" Diego asked

"He's in his bedroom playing with his other toys, it's down the hall first door to your left" I said with a small smile. I've always hated when people spent there money on Jordan and I unless they were family. I am thankful for the toy he bought Jordan and for the flowers but he really didn't have to buy us anything. I mean we barley know each other.

"He likes the car, the biggest smile appeared on his face when I handed it to him" Diego said with a big smile on his face

"Thank you so much Diego but please don't spend your money on us" I said softly

"Anna I wanted to get him a toy and you flowers, don't worry about it" Diego said as his smile fainted a little

"I'll pay you back hoe much was it" I said as I went to the kitchen where my wallet was

"Anna stop it's okay" Diego said following me

"Diego let me pay you back" I said looking at him

"Not gonna happen, so what's for dinner" he said changing the subject

I just looked at him with a sad face then told him what was for dinner. I got out three plates and put some spaghetti on each of them, I didn't put a lot on Jordan's plate because he's still little but I made Diego stand next to me so he could tell me how much he wanted. He took two pieces of garlic bread and put them on his plate. As Diego sat down I went to Jordan's room and got him. I put him in his chair and gave him his little plate and a baby spoon.

"What do you want to drink I have, apple juice, orange juice, milk, dr. Pepper, Faygo, water and milk" I asked Diego as I poured Jordan some apple juice

"Uhm what kind of faygo?" Diego asked

"Cream soda" I said looking at him

"I'll have that please" he said with a smile

"Alright" I said as I took a can out of the fridge and handed it to Diego, I stuck with water. Diego and I talked for a little bit after we ate and while we were eating. After Jordan was done eating which was like five minutes after Diego and I got done eating I took him out of his chair and he went back to his room to play with the car Diego bought for him. I went back into the kitchen and saw Diego doing the dishes.

"Diego what are you doing?" I asked confused

"The dishes" he said looking at me

"I can see that but why" i said walking over to him

"I want to help, you have a baby to take care of the least I can do is help with the dishes" he said with a smile

"Fine, you wash, I'll dry" I said picking up a hand towel and a plate

As we did the dishes we talked some more. He's a really interesting person in all honesty, he used to be a photographer until someone stole his $800 camera. He said he wouldn't be where he was today if his camera wouldn't have gotten stolen but he sounded kinda great full that the kid stole it. Diego is fun to be around, I know we've only known each other for like two days but he's really starting to grow on me. I can tell that I can trust him around Jordan and myself. After we were done doing the dishes I had to give Jordan a bath, so Diego left.

"I'll text you after I'm doing giving him a bath and putting him to bed" I said as I opened the door for Diego

"Alright" he said smiling at me

"Why do you keep smiling at me, like every time you look at me you smile" I asked

"Because your beautiful" he said smiling even bigger

"Well thank you, your not that bad yourself" I said smiling

"I'll see you later" Diego said before he walked out the door

"Drive safe" I shouted loud enough so he could hear me

After he pulled out of the drive way I went into Jordan's room. I picked him up and took him to the bathroom so I could give him a bath. After his bath I put on paw patrol for him so he could sleep. After I put him to sleep I texted Diego.

Anna: hey D

Diego: hey anna

Anna: I had fun tonight let's do it again

Diego: definitely a yes

Anna: how was your ride home?

Diego: boring I wish I could've stayed longer

Anna: me too but you probably can tomorrow

Diego: good, I like hanging out with you

Anna: me too! Your a really interesting person

Diego: your more interesting then I am, all I do is rap

Anna: that's still interesting, I've always wanted to know what it was like to rap.

Diego: you should try it sometime

Anna; nah I wouldn't be any good

Diego: oh please, don't knock it till you try it.

Diego and I texted for like an hour until I went to shower. After my shower I told him goodnight and went to sleep.
