Surprise, I know it's been a long time, but I have another story for you at last. I bring to you a Lucky Star one shot. I've chosen Miyuki because she's my favorite from the show and there are barely any stories with her, so here's my contribution.

The midterm exams were over and the winter holidays was coming up soon. But that was just a minor issue as far as you were concerned, for you had tonight to look forward to.

You see, a few weeks ago, you had just left school when you accidentally bumped into Miyuki Takara, the girl with strawberry-hair. When you first saw her for the first time, you thought she was pretty.

It was then thanks to Konata going off on one of her otaku subjects that you and Miyuki got talking and getting to know each other and then agreed to go on a date in secret. However, Konata was able to figure it out, but Kagami warned that if she tried to stalk yours and Miyuki's first date, she would never speak to her again, which made her give in.

That eventually led to a few more dates and then you both admitted into liking each other.

It was now the present time and you had left the school building. You waited near the school gates and watched as many of the girls came out until eventually, the familiar group of four arrived with Miyuki rushing over to you, which wasn't a good idea.

"Ah! I'm tripping!" Miyuki yelled.

You rushed to her at almost sonic-like speed and did a baseball slide, grabbing her in your arms just before she fell on the ground. Miyuki gasped and blushed when she realized how close she was to your face.

"Are you alright?" You asked her.

"Y-y-yes...I'm okay." She answered, blushing. "Thank you, Y/N."

You then stood up, still carrying her before putting her down on her feet.

"That was really cool." Tsukasa praised.

"It was almost like it was destiny." Konata added. "Just like that one anime where the guy comes in and saves the girl from a clumsy fall."

"Here we go again..." Kagami muttered.

Konata gazed at her with stars in her eyes. "What's that my girl?"

"Nothing important."

"So umm, now that we get a break from school, do you have any plans, Y/N?" Miyuki asked.

You held her hand. "Actually, I was wondering if you and I could go on a night date."

"Oh, we haven't done a date since the day we confessed. But why at nighttime?"

"I hear that there's gonna be a fireworks display tonight and it's taking place at a huge park."

"A fireworks display?" Kagami asked. "That's the first time I'm hearing that."

"Maybe we can go there if we ask our parents." Tsuaksa suggested.

"Yeah, don't hold your breath."

"That's right, she's planning a hot date with me." Konata winked.

Kagami's face went bright red. "S-s-shut it, Konata!"

Miyuki giggled before looking at you, smiling. "I'll have to ask my parents first, but if I can, you can pick me up, okay?"

"Sure, I can do that." You nodded. "I'll see you later tonight, hopefully." You leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek, making her blush before you walked off, waving at the others.
