I know I'm annoying you but I really need to talk to you. But most importantly, I need you.
More than 3 years and I though we were going strong.
Or so I thought...
I just don't know why... or how... or when it started... What happened to us?
Why did we break up? Why did you leave me?
But today, I resolve to stop bothering you. I have decided to let you be and give you the space that you asked for. That's why I'm sending you this email four years from this day.
I'm pretty sure you'll be the Zayn Malik that I thought you would be... a successful one.
You would've been to places. You would've met a lot of people. You would've done a lot of things by then.
I hope you have done everything by then. I hope that four years is enough for you to be sure that I'm the one you want to be with for the rest of your life.
I'm willing to wait for you Zayn.
I'll wait knowing that one day, I'll be back in your life and I will do everything it takes to win you back. I will never lose hope that we will eventually have our second chance. I won't ever lose hope.

Ok so if you are kinda confused... this letter and the letter on the prologue chapter was sent 4 years ago. Chapter 1 & 2 were flashbacks showing how they became a couple. The reason why this chapter is named "The New/Current Chapter" is because Zayn had just received this letter this year aka today. You'll know the real reason of their breakup in the near future. The next chapters are all happening in the current time, meaning they are all somewhat older than they were before.
I hope I made it clear.
