Chapter 4:

It's her.

Jungkook felt the warm tears gushing to his eyes. Whether its of sadness or joy, he didn't care one bit, it's really her. The warm feeling glowed in his chest, filled the massive crater that resides in his heart. The emotion pouring down like honey.

Because... it's her. By that point, he couldn't hold back. He dashed towards the girl, and embraced her tightly. His eyes squeezed shut, trying not let any tears escape. A smile cracked on his face, for the first time in a while.

"Who are you?"

The flame went out quickly. He heard the sound his whole self shatter, like ice, by reality. The feeling disappered, like a puff of smoke. Empty once again, the gaping hole was empty, because he realized It's not her. It wasn't her. He slowly released his caging arms from her.

A glimpse of her face only changed his whole perspective. It wasn't her. Despite their features were similar, almost identical, but she was never there. She never has been for a long time.

Silence was in the air they were breathing in. Suffocating. The two didn't dare to make the first move, it was too much. Awkwardly, they just stared at each other. Too scared to break the fearful silence.

Cough. Cough.

They both snapped out of the spell, realizing what they are doing as of now. They both bowed apologetically to each other and scurried along. Dr Phantomhive chuckled lowly, chuckled lowly, atfter witnessing their debacle and their behaviour as of now.

As she walked past Jungkook, he felt a cold breeze. Colder than the air felt in December. He knew that she was a total stranger, but couldn't shake off the feeling of her icy touch. Her dead touch.

"Mr Jeon," Phantomhive broke his trance. "This is Klaus, my assistant."

--

Jungkook walked out solemnly like those stranger's eyes. Dull and lifeless. Maybe even Dead.

The humiliation. The embarrassment. It was too real. He couldn't bare to face his brothers. They were right, after all,  about everything. They were right, he didn't move on.

He saw his hyungs race to him, like they haven't each other in years. Thus, a small smile crept up his lips, as they all engulfed him into the hug. The one that felt like home. They all released him, as they sat down with each other. Discussing about what Jungkook missed.

Laughing and laughing about how Taehyung didn't know the difference between the hot and cold button on the water fountain, and how Hoseok was panicking about being pregnant, since he read the leaflets. He remembered this feeling, when it was just like this. A time of laughter, a time where their worries were the least of their problems; A time with her.

"So, how did the appointment go?" Namjoon asked.

Jungkook's eyes dropped a little, enough for Namjoon to notice.

"It went fine," that's all he said, in the most quietest voice.

Namjoon's eyes softened, almost apologetically. He wrapped his arms around his body. Jungkook only sighed and buried his head in his neck. He let his arms hang.

"I'm sorry," Namjoon uttered as he released him out the hug. He tried to look at the boy, but his eyes seem to be glued on the floor.

"It's OK, I get why you wanted me to therapy."

"Do you want to continue the therapy? It's fine if you want to stop. All I want is for you to be OK."

"Hyung," Jungkook finally spoke as he looked at him. "For you, I'll continue for a bit."

Namjoon grinned as Jungkook gave one back. Jungkook turned to greet the others, then..

Bump. Paper dispersed everywhere like confetti. The stranger cursed and hurriedly gathered their papers. Instinctively, Jimin went on his knees and helped her collect the paper on the cold floor, the others followed along. Jungkook grabbed more of the sheets, but something caught his eye.

They were all pictures, of Y/N. All of them. The first time they went to dorm, the park, BamBam and his group the theme park and even at the time in the church.

However, he caught a glimpse of what was in the corner of that picture. A dark being, surrounded by a dark purple aura. Just looking at it radiated something sinister. The thing wasnt distinguishable, as it was lurking behind one of the columns. He could feel shivers travel down his spine as he saw it staring, at where it was taken, with its crimson eyes and its toothy smile.

"Jungkook."

He snapped out of its terrifying glance, when he heard one if the members call his name. Quickly, he came to the members and handed the paper to the stranger. She bowed apologetically, but, when her eyes went to Jungkook's, they both widened in surprise. It was her, the assistant. She averted his eyes and hurries along. His eyes follow her, watching her eyes look everywhere, and her hurried clicks of her heels. A sudden urge of curiousity ran down in his blood.

'Suspicious,' the youngest thought.

"Hyung, I'll be right back," he said to Jin, pacing quickly to avoid any other questions.

"Wait where are you going-"

"Bye," He cut him off

They left all confused. Not to question it, since they thought that he might just go to the toilet, they all just sat down and wait. To pass the time, they all were arguing about what they should eat after.

-

'Where is she going?'

Discretely, Jungkook followed the woman. Every step she took, he took. Ever action made he made was a copycat of hers.

This was more than just a game... He wanted, he needed, to know how they got those photos. All these questions swirling around his head too much. The questions grew more when he laid eyes on that shadow. Hiding behind that column, just before that cursed dagger plunged straight through her. He could even remember the detail it smiling, at him. Even with that star shaped sign on the alter.

'Maybe... that's what he wanted... What the fuck Jungkook. Stop that.'

"Why didn't you tell me that it was Jungkook?" he heard a voice coming from a room.

He followed the voice coming from that room. Once he took a peek, he realized that it was Dr Phantomhive's office. He watched the two argue something, he couldn't make put the words, until he leaned closer.

"Even if i told you, you would avoid the situation. He didn't even recognize you when he looked at you in the eyes," the therapist calmly answered.

"But, what would happen if he did?"

"He won't," he answered bluntly, "Forget about him Y/N he's none of your concern right now-"

"So it was you."

"Jungkook, I didn't mean for it to be this way-"

"No,I've seen enough."
