actually soojin has stage 4 cancer. she was terrible weak but when she saw jungkook, she was stunned by his looks. same as jungkook, his parents died in a car crash when he was 5 and it was really hard for him since he was an only child. he became depressed when he turned 14. he started to smoke and drink but when he saw soojin, he felt alive again, he felt happy again. she was the reason that change him.
then when they met in the train. jungkook admire her beauty. her long orange hair was actually a wig, a special wig just for her, representing her bright personality. that's when he realize that he was fallen inlove with her.

thanks to the umbrella,they got to know each other more. jungkook was 16 and she was 15. they go to the same school but different buildings.(jungkook is in grade 10 which means he is in the senior high building and soojin is in grade 9 so she is in the junior high building) and they only met in the coffee shop and in the train.
so when soojin said "i hope we could spend more time together." she was saying fare well because of her sickness.
and from the last chapter, jungkook was hellucinating. He was drinking and smoking again but he knew that she has cancer.(she told him but i didn't put that because im lazy) and now that jungkook knew she died. he came back to the old jungkook last 6 years ago when he never met her.
