Francois Dupont Elementary opened their doors once more after a long summer break. Children bid their parents and guardians goodbye before skipping towards the entrance.

Amongst the crowds of students, new ones were scattered about, not knowing where to go.

One of them was a girl with bluebell eyes, bluish-black hair tied in pigtails, and freckles sprinkled all over her rosy face. She timidly roamed around the hallways, hoping to find an adult that she could ask for help.

The bell suddenly rang. Now everyone was on the move, hurrying to their respective classes.

Panicking, the lost girl hurried her pace. Her eyes kept looking at the classroom signs, hoping to find hers. But she didn't notice a boy running her way.

They collided with each other. With the girl landing on top of the boy. "Ow!--t-that hurts!" The boy reacted first.

The girl scrambled to her feet. But she clumsilly fell all over again. "I-I'm so s-sorry! I didn't mean to--"

"No, i-it's fine, really. I didn't look where I was going." The boy slyly smiled.

Seconds silently passed as the two locked eyes, like how the blue sky stares back at the grassy fields.

The boy had golden blonde locks, and a pair of emerald green eyes. He had a playful grin on his face, and a personality that belonged to a nice guy.

The little girl was still on the floor. The boy then decided to help her out, offering a hand. "My name's Adrien." He said, smiling.

The girl accepted the help, and smiles back. "I-I'm M-Marinette."

"Nice to meet you, Marinette. Say, do you know where Room 301 is? I couldn't seem to know where it is..." Adrien scratched the back his head while he spoke.

Marinette's eyes lit up. "Actually, R 301 is my room, too! But, I also didn't know where it was..." She laughs nervously.

Adrien chuckles. "Well, I think we have to look for it together, then."

Marinette stared at Adrien, and nodded in agreement. The two held hands, afraid to get separated between the twists and turns.

Adrien and Marinette had asked for directions from a janitor. He kindly pointed out the turns they needed to take.

"You see that building over there, kiddos?" They nodded. "Climb up until the third floor. Then, the first door to your right would be your classroom." He finished, giving a small grin.

A shrill ringing broke them from their places. It was the school bell.

Marinette and Adrien paled.

Class was starting.

The two kids thanked the janitor before hurrying their pace, and breaking into a run. Passing three corridors, and three staircases, the pair finally arrives.
