[Do you... remember me?]

"JR? Are you listening?"

"Huh?"

JR snapped from his daze, looking up, only to be greeted by his friend's blank stare.

"Oh, sorry, Aron. I was just..."He paused, not knowing what to say. He could only avoid the other's stare as he tried to take his mind off the dream he had the night before.

"Well, whatever you're thinking about, think about it another time cause the CEO of the modeling agency will be here in twenty minutes." Aron explained.

"Modeling agency?" JR asked, trying to recall anything about a modeling company.

Aron's fingers hovered above the laptop's keyboard as he stared at his friend, putting on a worried expression on his face.

"Hey, did you sleep?" He asked carefully.

Not understanding what the older male meant, JR nodded his head slowly before answering.

"Yeah, why?"

"Oh. Well, do you remember that business deal we had with that guy from Astalè? The big guy?" Aron asked again, placing his attention back to his laptop screen.

"You mean Mr.Kang?"

Aron didn't say anything but he heard the man opposite him slap himself then groan. Smirking at his friend's stupidity, he kept quiet.

JR sighed, remembering the 'big guy', as Aron called him, from a few weeks ago. As a new rising luxury fashion company, they needed a way to promote themselves, and so,his other friend Minhyun called one of his schoolmates in highschool, saying that he was the CEO of the famous modeling agency, Astalè.

He had a discussion with Mr.Kang back then, suggesting a collaboration. In the end, they came to an agreement to hold a convention a month later to showcase the newest set of clothes their company has. It was a win-win situation for both sides so the business deal went smoothly.

And today was the day they were meeting with Mr.Kang to select the models who will be walking on the showcase's runway.

"Remind me again why we're meeting in a cafè? This isn't a date." JR asked, finally clearheaded enough to notice where they were.

"Who knows. It was Minhyun who told me to take you here." Aron answered with a shrug.

Because truthfully, even he doesn't understand why they were meeting in a cafè when they could have just had the meeting in either company's meeting rooms.

Just as JR was about to ask another question, they heard someone clear their throat and saw Mr.Kang, along with another guy, walking towards their table.

"I'm sorry if I kept you waiting." Mr.Kang said with an apologetic smile. "I had to look for Minki here, you see."

"It's Ren." The other guy said plainly, taking off his sunglasses.

Aron stood up, shaking Mr.Kang's hand as he glanced at JR. The guy looked like he just saw a ghost, except that he was staring intently at the new guy, Ren.

"It was no problem, Mr.Kang. I'm Aron, a fashion designer. I work under Mr.Kim here." Aron introduced himself, emphasizing on the 'Mr.Kim' to stop his friend from staring at Ren any longer.

Which worked, thankfully.

JR blinked his eyes once before quickly standing up and shaking hands with Mr.Kang, making sure to apologize for not greeting the man earlier.

"It's nothing. And please, just call me Baekho." Baekho said with a small smile.

"Call me JR, then. And it's a pleasure to be working with you, Baekho."

Baekho nodded before turning to look at the person beside him who had been keeping quiet since the beginning, except his quick introduction.

"Ren is one of Astalè's top models, as well as an amazing event planner. That's why I wanted to recommend him helping in the showcase's planning. If it is alright with you, that is." Baekho explained in a professional manner.

Aron and JR shared a look before agreeing, thinking it strange that Baekho would suddenly ask them to include Ren in the planning group.

Noticing the looks the two shared, Baekho glanced at Ren, only to see him staring at JR with a frown. Baekho cleared his throat, gaining the attention of the people around him.

"Then, shall we go meet the models?"

After JR and the others reached Baekho's agency, Aron and Baekho went straight into business. They met one model after the other, choosing those who would fit the showcase's concept and the clothes, leaving behind two awkward males on the side.

JR had been staring at Ren the entire time they were on their way to the agency, but everytime the other person would look at him, he'd turn away.

And when they reached the building, and got discarded by Aron and Baekho, JR decided to keep to himself, having found a new way to distract himself from staring at the stunning model. By playing games on his phone.

Ren saw everything the young CEO did, asking himself why he was sticking around with the kid.

"I mean, he literally is a kid. Who plays Pokèmon at his age, anyways?" Ren murmured to himself.

He saw as JR started battling against a squirtle then capturing it after he won. He looked really happy for some reason.

Ren couldn't help but stare as he saw JR's lips draw into a small curve, his smile turning into a grin after he captured the squirtle.

The way his eyes sparkled and how his lips slowly curved to make a smile, a feeling of familiarity rose inside Ren. He couldn't exactly pinpoint where he saw those heart-melting looks, but all he knew was that it felt all too familiar to him.

It was like he was seeing it for the second or third time, leaving his mind, and heart, in a mess even after the duo left their agency.

"Hey, Ren." Baekho suddenly called out to him.

"What?"

"Are you acquainted with Mr.Kim, by any chance?" Baekho asked, watching the younger male's reaction.

Ren thought for a second before shaking his head.

"No. I'm pretty sure this our first meeting. Why?"

"It just looked like you two knew each other, or perhaps you two have met before?" Baekho asked again, thinking about how the usually unsociable model asked to bring him along to the meeting.

"No, and I'm sure of it." Ren said walking away from his employer. "And stop using that 'professional' speech. It doesn't suit you."

"It makes you sound like you're forty or something." Ren said with a chuckle, walking away to leave the building.

Baekho touched his chin. His brows furrowed as he looked at his reflection on a windowpane.

"Does it really?"
