Every day is different, everything is not planned out like you want it to be, it all changes in the blink of an eye.

Today I was thinking of wearing a dress since it's my birthday, but at the same time a skirt with a cute shirt and sneakers was the right choice for me. My mom took me to school today, as I got out of her red truck and I headed to school and I felt so excited that it was my birthday.

As I walked through the hall and up the stairs to my class. I found a whole bunch of notes taped on my locker. I realized that no one forgot that it was my birthday. That made me super happy because I loved the thought that people actually remembered. I took the first card off of my locker and read it here is what it said.

To: Eva

From: Emma

You have been my best friend since we first met in kindergarten. I'm very happy to have spent all of these years with you :)!

Love you lots

Emma .

I put her note in my locker then I read the next one.

Dear Eva,

The first day I met you, you looked so beautiful. I could not take my eyes off of you. This may seem weird, but I have a crush on you. I hope someday we will be together or be good friends. I heard today that it was your birthday so I wanted to write a note and put it on your locker.

Xoxo

Love, Mystery_Guy

I have a secret admirer, this is awesome!

I open the next note that was taped to my locker and it was from Jack :).

Dear Eva,

I heard today was your birthday so I wanted to say Happy Birthday! I was wondering if you wanted to hang out, maybe work on homework or something. I think we could be really good friends.

Love Jack

Friends. The word haunted me. Why just friends? I wanted to be more than just friends!

The rest of the notes were just Happy Birthday Eva! and such. Today was a great day :).
