A New Beginning

"Star why have you been lying to me and why didn't you ever tell me?" Marco asked.

"Star?" He asked.

"Star?!" Janna yelled waking Star up.

"What?" Star asked as she shot up.

"Don't you have class?" Janna checked.

"Oh yeah. What time is it?" Star replied and asked.

"Almost ten." Janna answered.

"Oh shout!" Star yelled rushing out of bed.

"Good dream?" Janna asked.

"Huh?" Star questioned ans she grabbed her clothes.

"I kept calling you, but you wouldn't wake up." Janna explained.

"I keep having the dream of what Marco said before he..."

"Star it's been like two years since he broke up with you. You need to let it go." Janna told her.

"I know, but..." Star started.

"But nothing. How about Ross? I think he's still single." Janna suggested.

"Yeah. I haven't seen him in a while though." Star replied.

"True." Janna said.

"At least you and Tom are still together." Star said right before shutting the door to the bathroom.

"Oh yeah speaking of him we have a date tonight." Janna called to Star.

"Really you're leaving me again tonight?" Star asked opening the door.

"Sorry, but Tom got really good reservations." Janna replied.

"It's fine. I'm happy for you two." Star told her.

"Really Star you really do need to find someone new." Janna added.

"I know and I will, but not now." Star replied.

Then she shut the door and got in the shower.

(Later that day)

Star was walking away carrying her coffee, then she saw him.

She saw Marco Diaz.

"Marco?" she questioned.

"Star?" Marco said as they both looked shocked other.

They walked over to each other and hugged

"How have you been?" Star asked happily.

"I've been good and busy. What about you?" He replied and asked.

"Pretty good. It's great to see you again though." Star responded.

"Yeah. Well I was just taking a walk around the campus. Do they have a auditorium?" Marco asked.

"Yeah. You want me to show you?" She asked.

"Uh duh. Is that even a question?" Marco answered.

They walked in and Marco looked around amazed.

"I wish they had one where I work." Marco said walking on stage.

"What about college?" Star asked.

"I didn't go long. Until I was offered a great job." Marco explained.

"Oh." Star said with a nod.

"You want to sing?" Star offered.

"Sure. Why not." Marco responded.
