Annabeth comes

Katie POV:

As I left school,  I saw Travis and his friend Percy walking out. Percy was teasing him about something and his face was really red. I heard my name but I shrugged. 

"ohmygod KATIE?!!?!?!!!" I heard someone scream.

"ANNABETHH!!!" I screamed back. Annabeth was one of my best friends at my old school. She was awesome.

"ohmygod Katie we neeeeed to talk!! Two very important things!!" Annabeth yelled as we gave each other hugs.

"omg yes we need to catch up!" I yelled. I saw Travis and Percy look at us and I saw Percy blush. aw.

"hey lets go to Demeter's Cafe. They have great scones." Annabeth said.

"Sure" 

"I have something to say"

"go on"

"I'm moving to your school!!" Annabeth said with a happy look on her face.

"OH MY GOD YAYYY!!! I screamed while annabeth laughed.

"okay so you know how I said we have two things to talk about? Well that was the first thing. The second thing is--"

"wait when do you officially come?" annabeth laughed.

"tomorrow"

"omg i need to tell Piper--"

"Wait I'm not done with the second thing." Annabeth said.

"oh yeah"

"Well,,, do you know a boy with brown hair, blue eyes, tall, with the name Thomas or something?" Annabeth asked

"Travis. Yeah I know him" I said rolling my eyes. "Why?"

"Well I overheard him saying to his girlfriend that they should break up because he likes someone else and I heard his girlfriend say "it's Katie isn't it? You look at her as if she's your world. I'm supposed to be your world! You need to love me! Not her!" Annabeth said the last part with a chuckle. I blushed.

"Wow. I mean Travis hates me. And I hate him. So it's probably not true. But that does sound like Stacey." I exclaimed.

 "Well I saw the same guy before and he was looking at you with an awe look. BTW, the boy with him was totally hot!" Annabeth squealed.

"hahaha. That's Percy Jackson. He's on the swim team and is super popular."

"Ohmygoshimfallingforapopularguy" annabeth said under her breath. I laughed.

"Hey you should come over! Piper, one of my besties is coming and you two should meet!"

"Yeah that sounds awesome!"

"Great!"

"ooooh look who's here!" Annabeth said. I turned around and saw Percy, Jason, Frank, Nico, and Will (aka. the popular boys). But I also saw Travis. 

"KitKat." Travis said with a straight face.

"Oh look who's here. Travis. AKA big jerk"

"Ouch. Was that supposed to hurt bc I think you need to try harder."

"Can you go"

"I wish but Percy wanted to come here for some reason."

"Well you shouldn't have your friends control your life."

"I gue--"

"Your insecure."

"um okay."

"bye."

"bye kitkat."

Travis sat down at a table and I saw the guys snicker at me. Why did Travis have to be a jerk in front of the popular guys? I saw all the boys teasing him but I saw Percy staring at Annabeth. And vice versa.

"Well, can you guys stop staring at each other your making me uncomfortable" Me and Travis said at the same time. I saw Nico raise his eyebrows and the guys snicker. Annabeth smirked but was also blushing.

"shut up." Percy and Annabeth said at the same time. This time, everyone was laughing except for them.
