(Y/N)'s POV
Another normal day at school. Kids being assholes to my group of friends. We were the misfits, loners, outsiders, we heard them all.
We weren't the coolest, but we weren't losers. We were considered the 'emo' kids in the school.
There's a difference between emo and bad boys. That was Andy's group. We didn't get along. We despised each other.
Me and him have a past together. We used to be friends, that was until he chose a girlfriend over me. They aren't together now. Look who got the last laugh.
I readjusted my red and black flannel. My head was held high. My group was behind me. I was the leader of my group, just like Andy was to his.
We crossed paths. Me and Andy exchanged glares and kept walking. "You're going to have to forgive him one day (Y/N). You're killing that boy." My friend, Jade, said.
I laughed. "He killed me when he chose Sarah over me." I respond plainly. I knew one day I would eventually have to forgive him, but that day wasn't going to come any day soon.
I approached my locker. I hit it with my fist and it opened. I pull out my skateboard and set it on the floor. I put one foot on it so it wouldn't roll away.
I put my pack a cigarettes in my back pocket. I slam my locker shut and turn to my friends. "See you later." They all walked away. I put my backpack on.
I pulled my headphones from my flannel pocket. I put on a rock song and shoved both headphones in my ears.
I put my phone in my other back pocket and picked up my skateboard. I walked down the hall. Doing this simple task earned a few looks from my fellow students.
I rolled my (e/c) eyes and continued to speed walk. When I reached the front door, I set my skateboard down.
I hopped on it and raced past all the other students, some of them cursing at me because I 'almost' hit them. I just laughed it off.
After school hours, I usually go to an abandoned park I found. Sure it's creepy as hell, but it's quiet. Quiet is something I don't get often.
I finally reached the park safely. I found my bench I usually sat on. I set my backpack and skateboard on it.
I sat myself down. I dig through my backpack until I found my sketchbook. It was plain black, but I added my own little touch to it. There was music note stickers all over it because who doesn't love stickers?
I opened it to the picture I was currently working on. It was a sketch of the park in front of me. It wasn't completely finished, so I got to work on it.
I hummed the song that played in my headphones. It was Remember Everything by Five Finger Death Punch. Damn, don't you ever just listen to a song, then suddenly the words start applying to your life? That always happens to me.
I was in a deep thought. Suddenly, I felt someone pull my headphone out of my ear.
