Chapter 4

"Well, Adrian ended up getting murdered." She said. I dropped my iPod. I picked it back up. "Who did it?" I asked. "The Mute." She said. "Can I prevent it?" I asked. "I guess you could try." She responded. "Thanks Addy." I then hung up and left my iPod on my bed.

I ran downstairs. "I'm going out for a bit!" I yelled. I ran outside and got on my bike and didn't worry about my helmet. I drove back to the school and hopped off after I parked it. I ran through the doors and to his class.

I tried to open it but it was locked but the lights are on. I stepped back. I've always wanted to be an FBI agent. I thought. I kicked the door open and ran in. I looked around and he wasn't in sight. I walked into the storage room and saw him laying against the wall.

I bent down and felt his pulse. He's just asleep. I breathed out a sigh of relief. I looked at his face. He looked peaceful when he's asleep instead of stressed. Without noticing what I was doing my hand came up to his face to caress it.

When my reached his face his hand came up and grabbed it making me fall backwards. "What are you doing here?" He asked opening his eyes.

"W-well, I came back to make sure your ok." I stuttered. He smirked when he heard me stutter. "Why wouldn't I be ok?" He asked. I ignored him and grabbed his wrist and pulled him up. I dragged him out of his classroom door. "Did you kick my door open?" He asked.

"Yep. You shouldn't lock the door while the lights are on." I smiled. "Instead of knocking you kicked the door in?" He looked at me in shock. "I didn't have time to knock."

We walked outside of the school and led him to my bike. I got on. "Get on." I told him. "Why?" He asked. "Just do it!" I yelled. He hesitantly got on. "Wrap your arms around me." I said starting my bike up.

"Now, now, Ms. McCall. We should take this slowly." He teased. "Adrian R. Harris. Wrap your fucking arms around me unless you want to fall an die!" I growled. He instantly wrapped his arms around my waste and I took off towards my house.

I stopped in front of my house. "Do you know how to climb?" I asked him. "Sort of." He responded. "Good. Cause you will have to climb through my window.

I led up to where he would have to climb through my window. I ran inside and went to my window and saw he was already there. "I would have helped you up." I smiled. "Oh well." He said stepping closer to me.

When we were a few inches apart he started to lean down and I heard a knock on the door but ignored it. Our lips touched and it sent a shock through me an the knocking went to banging. I growled and shoved him into my closet and went to the door. "This better be important or you're bleeding to death!" I growled.

I opened the door and it was Scott. "Sorry, I was just wondering if you're ok." He said looking past me in my room. "Why?" I asked through clinched teeth. "I thought I heard a male voice. He said. "Its nothing. Go away!" I said and slammed the door and locked it.

I went back to the closet and opened it. Adrian stepped out. "It was cramped in there. Why am I here?" He asked. "Someones after you and will kill you unless your under protection." I explained. "You, are going to protect me?" He asked holding in his laughter.

"Yes, because i'm stronger." I replied. He then laughed. I got aggravated that he's laughing and I grab his shirt and pulled him onto my bed. He stopped and stared at me in shock. "I thought I said we will be taking this slow." He said looking at my hand thats holding his shirt.

"Stop flattering yourself. I'm stronger than you, this is proof." I said standing up. "Oh, really?" He smirked then grabbed my wrist and pulled me onto the bed and he was hovering over me. "I thought you said we are taking this slow." I smiled.

He had a thinking face. "Well, maybe we could speed up." He smiled back and started to lean down and our lips crashed together. I moved on top of him and my hands went to his hair and his hands went to my hips. Then all of a sudden my door opened.
