Chapter 2

My parents came up running and hugged me they were wet just like everyone else at that point in time I realised that I was the only I dry. Everyone started to get their senses back at started to look at me wondering and asking why I'm dry I was doing the same but just as I thought things couldn't get worse they did. I started to feel dizzy I haven't told anyone this but I'm a bit claustrophobic just as everyone was closing in on me I started to stubble then it went black.

I woke up wit a shock looking around dazed sitting up my vision was fizzy but my hearing perfect. My mum yelling my name "Kaiden" I was looking around my vision coming clearer I released I was in my room and the first thing I said was "how long was I out" my mum said "the whole holiday" that meant it was the first day of school. I went get up and go to school but my mum pulled me back.

She said "no you are going nowhere young man" I wanted to get out of this room, this house but everything was sore so l listen. The next day I got up and went to school without my parents knowing otherwise they would of stop me but I needed to get out, to think. Everything was different now now I had this new sense of energy coursing through me I didn't know what the energy was but I knew it was there.

When I got to school the first person I saw was at the gate max my worst enemy. He's hated ever since I don't know when it's been that long "yo look it's the 5 year old back at it again why aren't you taking your nap baby" "I'm the same age as you know 15 max" after that I walked over to my friends with my head down because word had gotten around about tsunami I walked over to my friends max said "hey man how was your holiday" Jessie pocked him "it's fine I slept through it Zac" "right right cool man"

We walked to our classes talking about their holiday. I didn't tell them about the man or the wave because I didn't want to freak them out or they would tell me I'm going crazy. My classes were normal. But when I got home things turned south.

My parents were standing right behind the door, looking at me with the 'your so grounded' look "hey guys how was your day my was gr-" "DON'T YOU DARE TRY TO WORM YOUR WAY OUT OF THIS YOUNG MAN YOU LEFT THE HOUSE WITHOUT US KNOWING AND YOU  HAVE TO TELL US WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE FACT THAT YOU WERE DRY AND NO ONE ELSE WAS" I yelled back "I DON'T KNOW YOU TELL ME MUM I think it has something to do with that man if not then I don't know" my mum looked at my dad and whisper something like 'his to close the man wasn't supposed to came till he was 16' my dad said a little louder "maybe his needed".

"Needed for what?" I asked. My mum went to say something to cover it up but then my dad said "your special son" I looked out the window I thought I saw the man so I run out but man was I was so wrong it was max and his crew. 'I'm so screwed' I thought I went to walk away but max yelled out "scared Kaiden never thought we had a scaredy-cat at our school" "yeah" one of Max's mates said "I'm not scared I just have to get back to my parents" who were standing at the door watching this.

'Great parents' thought. Max was now almost right in my face. "What do you want Max" "I want you on the ground bleeding" "why Max why" just after I said that Max punched me in the face. My nose was bleeding, then he kneed me in the stomach. I was on the ground bleeding after that everything was a blur. I remember my dad picking me up and Max being pulled away by wind! I remember being put in the car and my dad saying "it's time". We started the car then I fell asleep.
