What happened to us?

Authors note: yay chapter 2 is here! For those of you who through there was only one chapter ha I fooled you! There will be quite a few chapters however publishing time will be slow. Clementine had been asleep she finally gained consciousness she could feel her body shake and hear the sound of a motor running and knew that she was in some sort of vehicle. Clementine went to move her arms to run her eyes however they where restrained behind her back as her wrist where secured with rope. "What the..."

"Clem? You're awake?" Louis said in a hushed tone.

"Yeah, wait what happened where's AJ where are we going?" Clementine asked, her mind was still cloudy. Louis remained silent for a few seconds before explaining.

-flashback from Louis Pov-

"Oh my god!" Assim shouted out of schock.

"Run!" Violet shouted as everyone took off in different directions. Lilly's men split up and chased after them Louis ran beside Violet.

"Get AJ! I'll go get clem!" Louis said to violet before the two had split up into the bushes carefully making their way towards Clementine and A.J making sure they used the bushes as cover to get close enough to execute and unplanned rescue. Aj stood up he didn't get seriously hurt from the impact of the blast , he saw Everything that happened to Clementine, and it upset him. AJ didn't have a weapon so he quickly looked around spotting a nice sized rock and bent down picking up a rock clenching it tightly in his hand. Looking up at Lilly who stared down at Clementine.

"Leave Clementine alone!" AJ angrily shouted as he aimed the rock and threw it as hard as he could hitting Lilly in the back of the head.

"Ouch! what the fuck!" Lilly spun around glaring down at AJ. "You piece of shit!" She angrily shouted Walking toward AJ with her gun pointed at him. AJ held his hands up taking a few steps back backing up from Lilly who slowly made her way towards him "You made a huge mistake hitting me in the back of the head"

"Leave him alone!" Louis shouted popping up from the bushes. He grabbed the back of Lilly's jacket yanking it to pull her back, Lilly moved the gun up in the air trying to quickly gain her balance, which gave Louis the advantage he restrained her placing his arm over her neck securing her in a headlock. Violet managed to sneak up in a pile of bushes and wait, once Lilly was in the headlock Violet emerged from the bushes scooping AJ into her arms.

"Louis we have-"

"Get out of here Violet, make sure you keep AJ safe." Louis said to her as she hesitated for a second, she wanted to help Louis but at the same time her only option was to take AJ and leave, Violet nodded taking off into the woods carrying AJ on her back. all of the commotion began to attract walkers. Lilly's men made their way back firing at the walkers closing in on them. One of the men hurried over to assist Lilly using his gun to smack Louis in his arm he yelled out in pain letting go of Lilly. Lilly gasped for air turning around

"Look at what you did!" She said as the guy restrained Louis holding him by his arms so he couldn't move Louis squirmed around. "Everyone got away except you two so we are taking you and Clementine in, be thankful I didn't decide to have you killeeckn the spot. Let's go boys!" Lilly commanded calling the few guys back in that where keeping the heard down.

-end of flashback-

"And that's how we ended up here. In this van tied up."

"Did....she hurt you?" Clementine asked waiting for him to respond.

"No not really, she only slapped me around a few times and tied you and me up." Louis answered only giving her half of the truth. Lilly really ruffed him up there was a bruise on his cheek and his stomach was sore from her kicking him he also had a few minor cuts.

"I thought Lilly would be thrilled to see me again. Like I was surprised to see her. We left her on the side of the road when she killed one of our friends because she was upset, and back then I was too little to understand why but when I think about it she was jealous of Carley, I think she didn't like that Carley and Lee where so close and they where sort of a couple so she killed her. Anyway she didn't hate me but I often wonder if she did. When we left her It wasn't my choice to leave her I was only a little girl so what I said or wanted to say at the time didn't matter.

"It's clear that she doesn't like you Clem. I saw you two talk before she smacked you with gun.

"Yeah... but what matters right now is us finding a way out of here." Clementine paused and took a deep breath before speaking. "Louis are you still mad at me? Do you still hate me for what happened to Marlon?"

"Clem i..." Louis sighed he didn't want to admit he was wrong at least not yet. "I don't know anymore, right now I can't hate you, I'm actually glad you're here with me, you're smart and I know if we put our heads together we can come up with a plan to get out of here."
