The next day...

My worst fear was letting Adriana find out that I sell drugs . It was my only way out when I was 14 , and only way I could support my family . So after I started getting money & living a great life I tried to get out , but the nigga that's over it all wasn't having it . So now I'm stuck .
Adriana rolled over to my side of the bed , and looked at me with those big brown eyes . Man I'm one lucky Nigga dawg . Adriana could've chosen anybody else , but picked me .
"Hey you.." she said smiling
"Hey baby."
"I wish I could stay longer , but I go see Tay at the hospital"
"Man what?" I said getting up , and walking to my closet to find a shirt .
"I'm going to see Tay."
"The f*ck . Why?"
"He got into an accident."
"That's tough , but you're not going."
"And why not?"
"You don't see what he's trying to do?"
"No Amani I don't ." She said as she walked over to her bag to pull out some clothes
"He wants you back , so he's trying all he can to do that."
"You think he crashed his car on purpose? Yes , Tay is irritating, but he's not a psychopath."
"That's not what im saying ."
"Then what are you trying to say?" She said putting her pants on
"Adriana just trust me on this one, aight?"
"Okay sure , but I'm still going to see him. That's my "baby daddy" . I gotta make sure he straight."
"Whatever."
"Get Out Yo feelings."
"Ain't nobody in they feelings ."
"Aww baby!" She said walking over to me and sitting on my lap with her face towards me.
"Get off me shorty"
"Fine. I won't go."
"Nah , it's Whatever now. Go with ya lil boyfriend"
"Amani Stop f**king playing with me."

"Oh well . Ima just be lame then Adriana. You not going. Period."
"Okay Amani I heard you."
"I love you though." He said smiling
"I love you too, but you're mad annoying"
"That's all you baby. I gotta go anyways."
"Oh really? Where you going?" She said giving me that look that's says "nigga you ain't going nowhere" which always makes me stay .
"I got a couple things I need to do."
"Like What Amani? You going out to sell?"
"Mhm.."
"Amani we talked about this!" Her eyes started to get watery.
"Aye! Adriana don't cry!"
"I'm not about to cry over some nigga."
"D*mn I'm just some nigga to you B?"
"You know what I meant Amani. I'm not crying over you. Period."
"Look ...If I wanted to get out of the drugs & stuff I would , but I can't and I'm doing this for us now."
"For us Amani? Really?" She said laughing
"I'm for real I'm just stacking up racks for when you know..."
"Nah I don't know."
"Just in case we wanna have a kid, and move in together-.."
"Wait..you want me to have yo kids?"
"Oh yea baby. Imagine another you or me running around the house with Kayden . That sh*t would be dope as f*ck."
"It would be , but don't think you can just get out of this that easy..Amani please be careful out there. I can't lose you man. You & Kayden are all I got." I wiped her tears and gave her a hug."
"I love you mami. I would never leave you. You ain't gotta worry about sh*t ."
"Why can't I go with you? If you ridin' I'm ridin' with you."
"Naw baby. I love you for that but I can't risk losing you." I said putting my gun in my pants."
"This sh*t ain't safe man.."
"That's why I'm doing it, and you aren't."

"I will pooh." I gave her a kiss, packaged my stuff up and headed out.
