Chapter 10: This just got interestingly horrible: part II

I am falling to my death...or maybe i should say doom, i really dont know if i will survive the fall or not. So i guess ill call it an issue...i am falling to my issue.

Meh.

Any way, so im falling. I just got pushed from a bridge i was planning to jump off of anyway. I guess it all ends up the same either way.

Im not screaming as i get closer and closer to the water. im staring at the star filled sky. Ive always wondered if stars are really only made of gases. hmm, guess ill never find out.

I close my eyes, and a second later, water erupts around my body, and encloses onto me.

It made all of my bones in my left arm crack, and my ribs hurt a little, but otherwise, i think im fine.

Except for the fact that my left arm isnt working, and without both arms working, im sinking further, no matter how hard i try.

I kick, and wave my right arm frantically, wishing I could stop my father from attempting to kill Aubrey.

Shit, was Jeremiah in on this shit too? I didnt know, all i knew was that i was going to die.

a few seconds after i quit panicing, i let my self drift off.

I feel a pair of arms wrap around me as i black out from lack of oxygen.

Im coughing, and hacking, and gasping for air, as i come to. A pair of green eyes, brown eyes, and blue eyes are staring down at me. Aubrey was cradling my head, and glaring at Helix. Helix was crying, as was Aubrey.

Hang on. Aubrey is soaking wet?

Oh snap.

Aubreys the one who dived in and saved me? I fucking love her!

 I sit straight up, and lean on my left arm. I cry out in pain, and collapse as soon as i put a little pressure on it. Helix tries to rush at my side, but Aubreys' hateful glare kept him at bay.

I look over at him, confused at why he was so worried.

"What the fucks your problem Aubrey? I tried to pull her back from the railing, but she jumped anyway! You saw!" He yells, obviously quite angry that she wouldnt let him near me. I gave a short "ha" but soon regretted it. I resumed my hacking fit. Aubrey handed me to Jeremiah, steering clear of Helix, and told him to take me to the ambulance that i didnt notice, which was accompanied by three cop cars.

Huh.

"So what exactly happened?" I ask Jeremiah.

He shrugs and says, "You headed here after you saw Helix talking to that strange chick, and you took off. Aubrey called me and said she thought something terrible was going to happen, so i picked her up and we took off in the direction you went. Helix apparently-" He was cut off by Helix himself.

"to stop you from jumping. Why were you so upset about me talking to that weird girl?" He asks, his eyes not giving any hint of him knowing Chelsea. I sigh and tell them why.

"I saw you two together and i guess i snapped. Then you came here to talk to me, telling me my father wouldnt want me to die this way and that if i died here that my dad would kill Aubrey in my place. So then you pushed me over and i lost my balance, and now im here. Thats what i saw."

"Aria...-" Jeremiah starts, but Helix cuts him off again.

"We werent "together" at all, i dont even know her. I did come here, but i tried talking you out of jumping. Saying stuff like: I dont want you to die, and that i loved you. and then you pushed me away and jumped. Aubrey saw the entire thing, and when she saw you hop that railing she ran straight to it, but you were too far down already. So, she ran to the water, and swam out to get you. I was crying before i even got here, just hoping that you hadnt already jumped. But when you actually did it, i just stood there like an idiot, not able to move, or think. I couldnt believe you actually did it. When i saw you being pulled out, you were lifeless and pale...i was hysterical, and Aubrey wasnt being fair about letting me make sure you were alive. Then you wake up and now im saying this while you get your arm looked at...is that really what you saw?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

I blink a few times, then nod once.

"Is that all you have to say?" Helix asks, hurt taking over the confusion in his eyes.

I frown, and look down at my arm, which was all kinds of purples and blues.

Aubrey comes over, and glares at Helix. She tells him, "Calm your titties bro, she just came back from the dead, and you expect her to have an explaination five minutes after shes resurrected?"

Helix blushes, and half-smiled at me. he says, "Sorry." and goes to the railing of the bridge, right where i had "jumped". He stares down at the water, his eyes looking like he was daydreaming.

I look up at Aubrey, take one look at her sopping clothes, and say, "And thats why youre my best friend."

Her eyes well up with tears, and she smiles over at me.

"I had no idea what you saw during the bridge scene, but i did see the scene with Chelsea and Helix. I think Chelsea is into that black magic shit. It was an illusion, Aria." She says.

"How do you know?" I ask, tears trailing down my face from the throbbing in my arm and chest.

"I thought about the scene over and over again, and realized that the illusion she produces is translucent because shes too young to be a black magic witch. So i saw both scenes happening at the same time, but i had to think alot over it to see the one behind the illusion." She proclaims.

Then how come i wasnt able to see it?

(a/n aaannnddd thats a wrap for this chapter. This chapter will be dedicated to xxbeautifulliesxx because shes my real life best friend and her name is Aubrey. She gets to be the hero this time.
