Regina's POV

It's been a long day. Emma's been at work all day. All week she's been coming home late. I can't sleep without her. I sleep terrible and I get up early to help the kids and get to work. I just miss her. The kids have just got back from school. I got off work early to pick them up. Everyone is doing homework and the babies were at pre-k. I took Mia with me. She was quiet. She sat on my lap and played with my hair and watched abc mouse videos. They actually teach her stuff. I was able to finish all my work today. I miss my girlfriend and I wanna see her now.

I grab my phone and sit on the couch. I play with my hair as it rings.

"Hi baby" She says.

"Why did it take four rings for you to answer me?"

"I'm at work baby"

"I don't care you answer me at one ring" I pout.

"Are you okay baby? You sound stressed"

"I'm stressed because I miss my girlfriend. Will you be home for dinner tonight?"

"I miss you too and I'm working late but I should get back early"

"Early as in I'm asleep already?"

"Babe I'm sorry"

"Okay whatever"

"Don't baby. I'm really sorry. They keep giving me cases and I'm trying to do them now so I can have a few days off next week. Look I'm sorry I'll make it up to you somehow"

"We have ten kids you should be here Emma!" I snap annoyed now.

"I know and I'm sorry jesus Regina calm down!" I scoff and hang up. I roll my eyes and go into the kitchen. Emma calls me and I decline. She keeps trying to call and I block her. I set my phone down.

"Mama" I look to see Ulisa.

"Yes baby"

"Are you and mom fighting?"

"No we're fine Ulisa"

"I heard you on the phone" She says.

"I just want her to be here. But don't worry. Everything will be fine"

"Okay what's for dinner" She asks.

"I'm thinking spaghetti and meatballs. I know Mason and Garret really love this"

"And mom loves it too"

"She loves all my cooking" I say laughing.

"Okay well I have a project due and I need Mom's help"

"I can help you"

"It's in physical education"

"Okay I'll tell Emma whenever she decides to come home at a decent time" I say and she laughs.

"I'll just try on my own for now."

Everyone has eaten. I've showered Mason and Brady. Mia is washed up and sleeping already in her own room for once. I walk into Garret and Henry's room. It's 10 almost 10:30.

"Lights out" I say and they nod. I give them kisses and close the door walking to Ulisa who is already asleep. I kiss her cheek and then close her door softly. Amari and Joseph are up on their ipads.

"Excuse me you know the rules no ipads after bedtime you two should be asleep or you're going to be tired in the morning and I'm not letting you stay home" I kiss their heads.

"Mama?"

"Yes Jojo"

"I love you"

"Love you both now go to sleep" They nod and lay down. Next room is Dani and Alia and Alia is awake.
