Chapter 6

I followed closely behind Leo as we entered his home, which is located in the sewers, and the sewers stink. I might have to take a shower later. I pout a little at the thought of the stench clinging to my clothes and hair, I mean even hákarl and skata smell better! Cough-fermented shark and fermented stingray-cough.

I look at my surroundings and notice how pleasant this place looks despite it's location, they've made it kinda cosy and it had that "home" feel to it. I noticed a large computer setup with various computer screens....and with one of the other turtles sat by it.
I try to hide my tiny form behind Leo's tall one, even though Leo has been kind to me I can't expect the other turtles to act the same.

"Donnie! I'm back" Leo called out the turtle who stood up by hearing his brother, now that I got a good look at him I noticed that he had glasses which made his eyes seem bigger than they were, he had all sorts of gadgets on him and wore a purple bandana. 'Donnie' approached us and greeted Leo and then switched his eyes over to me, I unconsciously gulped and held my head high.

"I see that you brought her like master requested" Donnie quietly whispered before advancing to me.
"Hello, I'm Donnie and I hope that we don't make you uncomfortable" he sighed.

'We?' I thought to myself 'there are more of them?' Then I hear two sets of heavy footsteps approach at a fast pace and shortly after that I hear two voices bickering among each other.

I turn around to see two other turtles, the huge one wore a red bandana and the other smaller one wore a orange bandana. What is with them and wearing bandanas? Must be a fashion statement I guess. The two turtles stopped bickering among themselves as soon as they saw me standing by Leo and Donnie, I shyly waved and smiled awkwardly at them.
All of a sudden I hear a tongue smacking sound come from the....let's just call him 'Red' since I don't know his name yet. He wore a sneer on his face and crossed his arms and walked slowly towards us but intimidatingly. For me at least.

"So you're Leo's pet?" He crudely asked, his voice gruffly voice does add an even more intimidating aura around him. Wait, pet? I stand there a little shocked as I try to process what he just said.

"Back off Raph" Leo growls as moves to stand before and block my view from Red's eyes, but I had other plans. I move from behind Leo's frame and walk up to this 'Raph' person and oh was I pissed. I walked right up to his huge frame and I noticed that he was maybe even taller and more muscular than Leo, I only reached up to his lower chest, but I didn't let that bother me.

"Pet? Me?" I scoff "I'd say that you're more qualified to be a pet than I would ever be, redhead" I finished with a determined look and I hear the orange turtle behind him 'ooooooh' as he approaches us. The smaller turtle grabs onto Red's shoulder and tries not to fall on the floor from laughter.

"She totally roasted you bro" the orange turtle wiped his eyes as he said that and Red pushed him off and growled lowly but powerfully. "Shut up Mikey" he turns to me and seems to inflate his chest up more because he looked even bigger when he come closer so that we were inches apart.

"You should watch your tongue princess, I'm not the one who has a crush on a certain turtle" he whispered to me so that I would only hear, my anger flared when I heard his Brooklyn accent utter those words as I went to punch his face but got pulled back from behind.

"Enough Raph!" Leo shouted and wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me away from Red and against his chest. I squirmed against his hold and tried to get the mammoth like turtle. "Let me at that oompaloompa!" I growled and Red's face turned to pure rage. "Oompaloompa? Why I outta-"

"Wow there firecracker, let's just all calm down" Leo quickly defused the little "fight" between me and Red, I felt him hold me a little tighter. "Raph go and fetch master and April-" Leo muttered "-and maybe cool yourself down on the way there." Red growled but slowly complied and went with Leo's request. Leo looked at the orange turtle and tilted his head the way that Red went, mentioning him to go with him. He quickly followed after Red and left without a second thought. I breathed heavily through my nose as I clenched my jaw, how dare he assume something like that? It was only fascination not a crush, I won't go back to those days. I shudder as I think back to my previous 'relationship.'
