Wonwoo entered work with a bright smile, but he left with a broken heart, One moment can really impact someone's life. In Wonwoo's case, it was multiple missiles that targeted his heart at once.
He didn't go home like he told his father he would. Instead, he threw all his belongings that used to be in his office, in the trunk of his car and wondered wherever his feet took him.
It was a quarter till midnight, and Wonwoo found himself standing in front of a now forclosed library.
When Wonwoo was in high school he had so many friends, but had a special bond with seven of them.
The oldest was named Seungcheol, he was a kind, gentle guy, but his muscular appearance made strangers think otherwise.
The one with pink hair was Jeonghan. If he wasn't sleeping, then he could be found looking for a place to sleep. Jeonghan was definitely the most mischievous in the group, he would make fake ID's so they could go into clubs and have fun. He was also a master in lying his way out of any situation, and had a huge crush on one of the boys within our group, but he never told Wonwoo who.
Each friend group has the more happier one with a blinding smile. His name was Seokmin, not only was he the mood maker in the group, but was a amazing singer. His voice was sweet like honey, and would take any opportunity to sing if one came up.
There was also pretty boy from America named. Jisoo, occasionally Joshua. His ethereal appearance made everyone stop and stare, girl or boy they swooned over his cat like eyes and sweet personality. Jisoo was also the only to decline going to the clubs, he would also be parked out back so he could drvie his drunk friends home, what a sweetheart.
The last two were from China, Junhui and Minghao. When Minghao arrived to their high school his freshman year, Junhui was drawn to him as soon as he laid eyes on him. Minghao had blonde hair that laid loosely on his forehead, he approached Junhui with broken Korean and had a hard time trying to say the sentence. Junhui could tell by his accent that he was Chinese too, he spoke to him in his mother tongue and guided him around school, and helped translate homework assignments. They grew closer and closer to where they are now.
The library was where all seven used to hang out here when school was over. They would always play around and cause trouble, dating each other to do crazy things without getting in trouble.
He smiled at the thought of his friends being idiots and making his teenage years the absolute best. Then that all changed when they graduated, two of them came out to the other five that they have been dating since freshman year,(even though everyone could already tell they were more than friends.)and we're going to move back home to another country together. Three were accepted to collage, and the other lives in another part of Korea.
Then there was Wonwoo, he was offered a job by his father, he wanted to tell him that he was accepted into university, but his he looked so excited when he mentioned that fact that he could work with his son. Wonwoo just smiled, nodded his head and never told his dad about the bright future he would have if he went to college.
Wonwoo has been by himself for two years now, but it feels like it's been an eternity. Mingyu was his only relationship besides his dad, Soonyoung doesn't count. They're not friends, they're only co-workers.
Now it looks like Wonwoo is all alone again, his dad will never be able to look at him the same again, He must be so ashamed.
Wonwoo was snapped out of his thought when he felt something land on his forehead, it was raining. The rain was always comforting to him, other people hated the rain because it's to gloomy, and spoils any outdoor plans. On the other hand, Wonwoo loved the downpour. Wonwoo loved to stare out the window when it rained, it was so grey, he loved it.
Nothing better than rain to brighten his terrible day. The vibrations of his phone from his worried father didn't phase Wonwoo. The image of Mingyu crying was all he could think about, at no time he thought he would see Mingyu cry. Let alone make him cry.
Mingyu had the prettiest smile, his teeth were pearly white and had pointy canines. Not only his smile, but everything about him was pretty. His hair, his eyes, his sunkissed skin, his voice. Everything was perfect.
Now Wonwoo will never see that or him again. This was one of Wonwoo's biggest flaws, he always accepted what happened, he would never try to fix anything. He was to scared, he was afraid he would only make the situation worse.
Wonwoo slowly turned away from the library and head back to his car. Once he got in his car he instantly started the engine and drove home.
It was nearly three in the morning once he arrived home. He quietly walked upstairs up to his room. Wonwoo striped himself of the lovely outfit he planned to show Mingyu and throw himself in his bed.
Waves of tears started to go down his cheeks. Wonwoo never even got the chance to tell his dad he is gay. He wanted his father to be proud of his hard work and devotion, he didn't tell him in high school because his mother was around them, and she surely would not have approved.
Wonwoo cried himself to sleep again that night. His father is disgusted with him. Mingyu definitely hates him, he has no friends or anyone to vent to. Wonwoo will for sure be hot news in the office that will surely get out into the streets, and into the news.
He can already imagine the headlines:
THE VERY RICH AND SUCCESSFUL CEO OF JEON INCORPORATIONS SON WAS CAUGHT BLOWING A RIVAL COMPANYS CEO'S SON!!
Wonwoo cried and cried until there was no more tears left. He drifted into a deep sleep, which he hoped to never wake up from.
