Redtail's POV
"You caused this!" Bluestar yowled, lunging right at Spottedleaf's back. Ivypool circled around her, thousands of starclan cats staring at her, yowling, hissing, spitting. But Redtail couldn't bring himself to do it. His littermate, his sister, his closest friend, being punished and attacked infront of him. Why didn't he guess? It was his fault this happened, he should've known! If only he were closer to his sister! Closer to ner than anyone el-
"Spottedleaf." A gray she-cat growled, interuppting his thoughts. Yellowfang. "Get out of here. To the Dark Forest where you belong." Yellowfang turned away, running next to Raggedstar, him comforting her. Which kin will I still have in Starclan? Redtail swallowed and marched up to his sister.
"Redtail!" Spottedleaf's eyes lit up, his heart ached with guilt. "You're joining me in exile?" Redtail scoffed at Spottedleaf before letting out all his rage. "No! I trusted you! But you just were the root to every problem! None of this would've happened if you weren't so selfish, you foxheart!" He cried, running behind Bluestar.
"Are you ready?" The voices boomed. "No! I'm not ready at all!" Spottedleaf yowled, stepping back as the cats approached closer. "Are you ready?" Cats began stomping the ground. "JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE TIME! I PROMISE I'LL PAY YOU BACK!" Spottedleaf yelled, breaking down, running towards the Dark Forest. The cats chased her there along with the rest of the dark forest cats left.
Redtail joined them. Running until his pads ached. He slowed down, noticing the cats turning around. Redtail looked at them then at Spottedleaf. He snuck over to her. "I'll visit you, I promise." Redtail whispered, walking away from her. He glanced back to see Mapleshade trying to follow, but Appledusk hissed at her before rejoining them.
Redtail pulled Appledusk to the side. "Don't hiss at them." He meowed calmly, turning towards Bluestar, then Thistleclaw. "You never know what somebody could do." Appledusk sighed and nodded his head with a grunt. He caught up with Reedshine. Redtail smiled. If thats how Mapleshade and Appledusk turned out, we would.. she would be happier. But love doesn't work out like how mama said. He turned to see Firestar catching up with him.
"Firestar!" Redtail chirped, pausing his long strides to shorter ones so the younger leader could catch up. "Are you ready to join Starclan?"
"I don't know if I am, I never got to say goodbye.." Firestar turned to Sandstorm, sobbing at his corpse, with Brambleclaw silently comforting her.
"There time will come soon, don't you worry, Fireheart." He smiled at the orange tom warmly. "You can give Brambleclaw a life if you want-"
Firestar turned to see Brambleclaw running towards the moonpool with Hollyleaf on his back. Firestar ran after him, Redtail leapt at his scruff and shook his head. "You'll meet them there." He promised him. They locked tail as Redtail lead him to Starclan. "Go meet her there."
"Her?"
"You'll see."
