Beep... Beep... Beep. I groaned as I rolled over and hit the button to turn of the alarm.
"get up kalynn!" mum shouted
"coming!" i shouted back
I rolled out of bed and slipped on some shorts and a tank top. you are probably wondering who I am, well am kalynn, kalynn Jones. I live in a heard, yes a heard because i am a horse shifter and no one knows except my heard and my family. I am 17, about 5'3, yes I know I am short I have blonde hair and icy blue eyes. My horse stands at about 18 hands and her name is Bella. I jog down the stairs to the kitchen. "What's for breakfast" I ask mum. My mum is way different from me she is 6' she has brown hair and green eyes. Her horse is 20 hands and her name is Sephora. My brother Toby is 4'5 he is 12. His horse is roan and he is about 13 hands so far he is still growing. I never knew my dad. When I was 9 we were attacked by wolf shifters aka werewolves. I am scare of werewolves after I saw them devour my dad. See we were playing Chase in a beautiful field, as horses of course, when suddenly a whole pack of wolf shifters came and attacked us. My dad stayed and held them off while me and mum climbed a tree and hid our scents. They slowly circled my dad and raked their claws over him before finally killing and eating him. Our family was never the same.
"It is time to go for a run my children" mum called out. I
groaned and turned and ran out side. mum's horse is a light brown buckskin roan mare. My brother's horse is a dapple brown Tennessee walker. my dad's horse was a light brown american paint.
