I have an awfully bitter taste in my mouth when I walk out the school doors on the twelfth Monday of freshman year. Gee, I wonder why, you dumbass, I think as I walk away from the building, my Vans making heavy sounds on the black pavement. It's quiet outside. No cars rushing by, no stupid basketball players making a ruckus around the twisted tree in the middle of the parking lot. I let out a loud sigh of relief. "Freedom alas." I whisper. I walk over to my car and unlock it, throwing my backpack into the passenger seat while I climb in. I grin. Just like an ordinary day. Except, I think, Except for the fact that I just ate everyone in my English class.
