Brothers In Blue

Chapter 1

-Outside the city of Townsville-

[BANG BANG] The man shoots at the cops to throw them off his trail. The man is the biggest drug lord in America. Dexter Feldman. Dexter arrives to the drug house after successfully killing 2 cops. He didn't really want to kill them but if anyone knew he was a drug lord his reputation would drop. He walks up to two men who had a large duffel bag. The men were Dexter's sellers. He drops a bag that he had been carrying that was full of drugs."So where's my cash?" Dexter asks the two men. One of the men walks up and grabs Dexter's bag and opens it. He pulls out 50 bags of pure Ecstasy. "All good boss." The man says as the other man drops the bag full of so much cash it as practically overflowing. The men trade bags and go their separate ways. Dexter checks his watch and realizes he's late for a meeting with some investors. After all he was a business man. The drugs were just a side hobby to him. Dexter hops in his car and speeds down the dirt road to get back to Townsville.

"I'm sick of this shit!" The chief of the police department yells at three of his officers. These officers are the worst ones he has. Well had. After they are getting fired today. All because they couldn't stop a bank robbery because they were eating hot dogs. The officers in question are three brothers. Brick, the oldest, Butch, the middle child, and Boomer, the youngest. "First you boys let a robbery happen. Now we have to have 2 funerals for Chuck and Rufus." Chief says while holding his head down. "They were my 2 best officers. Well they were a million times better than you 3 bozos." Chief says clearly angry with the boys. "Look chief I think speak for all us when I say just get to the point all ready. Brick says just waiting to hear why they were called in his office. Chief smiles as if he just won the lottery. "Ah, yes the good news. You boys are getting the day off, and the day after that, and then the whole month. Because your FIRED!!" Boomer looks at chief and stands up "Hold up chief you can't just do that." He says trying to keep their job. "YOU LET A ROBBERY TAKE PLACE WHILE YOU WERE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!" Chief yells at the boys. Then right before Brick stands up to argue with the chief a man walks in and pulls Chief out the room.

The boys sit there as the man closes the door and then move to listen to the conversation. All they could hear was something about Ecstasy being found at the scene of Chuck and Rufus's murder. The next thing the boys heard was the door knob moving and them hitting the floor. "Give me your badges and get out of my office. NOW!" Chief says to the boys. Boomer stands up and says "But what about the drugs out there? We can take the case instead of letting people die because of this." Boomer now realized how it felt when Brick would take charge. "Are you kidding me? Boomer your smart enough to realize how dangerous this is. I already got 2 dead cops and I'm not adding you boys to that body count. After all what would your dad say about this?" Chief said. "Yeah, well our dads not here anymore now is he." Brick says irritated that chief brought there dad up. "You think I don't know that! I was the mans best friend for his entire life. There's not a day that goes by where I don't miss that guy, my partner, my friend." Chief says to Brick while the walk closer to each other as if it was a fight. "Well if dad was here he would tell us to go for it." Now Brick and the Chief were face to face. "Fine you boys can have the case. But if you just so happen to cause property damage I will see you off the police force immediately. Is that understood?" The chief says as he backs away from Brick. "Yes sir" Boomer says while putting his hand up to solute the chief but Butch pushes his hand down.

Go get the case file from Gomez in the office." The chief says as the boys walk away only to grab Bricks arm and tells him. "You know Brick you remind me of your father so much? It's like every time you speak I can hear his voice as if he were talking." The Chief says while smiling to the boy. "Now I didn't want to say this in front of your brothers but the man we're after is dangerous and powerful. I want you to watch after your brothers and make sure nothing happens to them. You hear me?" Brick nods at what the Chief says. "Now get out of here." Chief says while still holding a smile. "We promise not to let you down Uncle" Brick says to the chief while walking out. "Please be safe." Chief says under his breath because he knows something that no one else knows. The fact that the 2 dead cops weren't killed with guns or any kind of weapon. They had been poisoned in some way. After all the bodies were found with their flesh rotting off as if they had been dead for years. But Chief knew the boys could handle it. After all their dad was the only one in the family to posses such powers. As if he weren't human. And from what he has seen the boys were just like him.
