Chapter 3

Y/n's P.O.V

Time skip = at her apartment.

We went to the third floor which is where I lived."Could you hold this for me? I need to find my keys." I said giving the bags to Mei as I find my keys inside my bag.l unlock the door and opened it. Mei went in and place the stuff in the kitchen.

"I gotta say y/n. Your place is beautiful. Said Mei looking around the place .

"Thanks. Anyway would like have dinner with me? I mean since your here after all you did helped me carrying those things." I said taking out the foods out of the plastic." Sure I'll stay a bit.""Great."l said.

I was making chicken soup.Mei helped me cutting some veggies with me. "Hey can you pass me the bowl pleas- Oww!."I accidentally cutted my finger while looking at the bowl on the kitchen counter." Y/n! Your finger! It's bleeding!"Mei said with a widen eye." Do you have any first aid kit?" She asked." In the living room in the table drawer." I said wiping the blood with a towel. She went there and found it. " Here.Give me your hand." Said Mei opening taking out a antiseptic and a band-aid. Her hand was a bit cold. It feels like a little cold ice touching my hand. I think it was just the AC that is making it cold. "Your lucky it's just a small cut. You don't to go to the hospital." Said Mei wiping the blood out and patch it with a band-aid. " Thanks. We should continue to cook now." I said to Mei.

" Are you sure you can still cook? Does your finger still hurt?" She asked me.

"I'm all right. It does hurts a bit but I can still cook. " I said. "Okay then, let's go back to cooking." Said Mei as we continue cutting veggies.

Time skip= after cooking.

Y/n's P.O.V

We finally finished cooking and place it on the dining table. "Prepare for the smell of this soup." I said dramatically open the pot closer. "Smells good. Let's eat it all up. I call dips!" Said Mei quickly shoving her spoon into the soup." Hey! The chef must dig in first and then the other people will dig in. I said jokingly making both of us laugh.

"We should eat before the food gets cold." Said Mei eating her food." Okay." I said like a kid.

Time skip= after dinner

Mei's P.O.V

We finished dinner and helped y/n doing the dishes since her finger is wounded. She was leaning on the wall looking at me smiling." "Hey Mei. Thanks for helping me doing the dishes." She said softly." No prob. Your finger is hurt so you can't wet it or it will be painful." I said closing the tap off.

"When have you been all this years y/n?" I said. I haven't seen her since she went to college and graduate. "I went to America to see my family since I haven't heard anything from them." She said.

"Well that's makes sense. Anyway what is you job now?" I asked her. "I'm a author." "Do you have any book that you have write?" I asked." Only one. "Why do we love". I just publish it last month. It's about why we think of love and what caused of love. What about you? What is your job?" She asked me.

" I'm the chairwoman of Aihara Academy now." I said."Huh... So you did take the heir." She said" Yup." I replied." I'm done washing the dishes and I'm going home now." I said walking towards the door. Y/n grabbed my coat and help me put it on.

I open the door."Umm...thanks for the dinner. It was delicious. I have to go now. I visited you sometime. Bye." I said." Byeee." Y/n replied and closing the door.

I walk out of the apartment and I walk my way to home. I was walking on the street slowly thinking about how good she cooks. It was just like when we were 17 years old.

Flashback=

Mei's P.O.V

We were walking to y/n's house together so that we could study. She invited me in. I was sitting in the living room while she was in the kitchen cooking something." Hey Mei do you want something to eat?" She said." "No thanks. I'm full." I replied. " You know it's really rude to refuse something from someone." She said pointing the spatula at me." Fine fine anything that is light." I said." Okay." She went into the the kitchen and cook something good. It kinda makes me feel hungry a bit even though I'm full.

She walk out from the kitchen holding foods in her hands." What's that?" I asked her." It's my favorite food. Homemade fried meatballs. Try it. It's good." She said it to me. I took one using chopsticks and taste it. It was good." You know. You make a pretty good wife one day. You cook great." I said jokingly to her." Hey! Don't say that. It makes me blush a bit." She said. I can already see her blushing a bit." It's just a joke. Don't take it seriously." I said.
"Anyway, we need to study this for the test next week." Y/n said opening her book." Your right. Let's start with this question." I said.

End of flashback= Now

I was keep thinking about it without focusing where I was walking. I wanted to go to the other side. At first I didn't see my left or right before crossing it. I just walk. While I was walking, I noticed a light reflected on my right face. I look at it and saw car driving towards me.
