I talked to my friend Jessica, who I told everyone I was dating to cover up the fact that I'm gay. Jessica is a lesbian and its pretty obvious.
"Jess, can we talk?" I texted to her. it was 5 am and I couldn't sleep at all. I know she will respond to anything early in the morning unless her girlfriend is over.
"Hey, what's wrong?" she texted. okay she isn't with her girlfriend.
"I like this guy" I texted. you see, Jess is like a sister to me. I'm only out as gay to her. her girlfriend is Olivia.
"OOOHH TELL ME TELL ME" she texted, obviously excited.
"it's Anthony" I texted. there was 3 Anthony's in our grade. Anthony James is my crush. he's so cute and I can't stop thinking of him.
"What Anthony?" she asked. "sporty Anthony, geeky rebellious Anthony or gay Anthony?"
"g gay Anthony" I stuttered. fuck, I didn't think Anthony James was gay. bisexual, maybe just maybe. "is Anthony James the gay Anthony?" I asked.
"Yes he is. I can set you both up on a date". I couldn't say yes since my homophobic religious family would know then send me away. I'll tell them later.
"Jess, you know my parents would find out, their religious as fuck and would use the bible against me. I want to but I'm scared my family would find out and that the school would find out. they already think you and I are dating even though you came out as a lesbian during 6th grade. can i have his number to text him?"
"Yeah, sure I'll text it to you." she texted me his number and I texted him.
"Hey Anthony, it's Michael". I texted him and went to sleep. I went to sleep happy knowing I texted my soon to be boyfriend.
