The next morning, the two sat in a comfortable silence on the couch for the best part of twenty minutes, which really, was unheard of when Jimin was little. He usually would want to be playing animatedly with his toys or boisterously running around the house with a worn Yoongi chasing after him to scold him on the rule of 'no running in the house', which continuously seemed to be forgotten despite being repeated countless times.

The quiet didn't last for long. It never does, but both boys tend to like it that way, its familiar.

The silence was cut short by an aggressive grumble sounding deep from Jimin's stomach. Jimin instantly slapped a hand down to his tummy and Yoongi could practically see it bouncing due to the rumbles of his stomach. "Oh!"

Yoongi scoffed. "Yeah, oh. Jimin, how hungry are you? Your tummy sounds pretty angry."

Jimin's stomach basically answered for him. "Um, well, I didn't get to have lunch and dinner last night... obviously. A-and then—" Jimin took a deep breath. "I didn't eat the breakfast you left for me before you left yesterday, Kitten, Im sorry! And I didn't have lunch, b-because I'm scared of what those girls would say, so, uh, very hungry, Kitten. Im sorry!"

Jimin had practically spat out the last part of his speech and held his breath as he gingerly awaited Yoongi's response. He didn't have to wait long. Yoongi was soon grabbing him by the waist and setting him to sit alongside him on the cushions, placing him down beside his legs with a thump.

"Park Jimin! If you weren't so little right now, I would give you a spanking!" Jimin's cheeks blared, his face quickly attempting to be hidden behind his own sweater paws. "How many times have I told you about not skipping meals? Its so dangerous, Jimin! God, I'm going to die of old age before I'm even thirty at this rate."

Jimin stifled a laugh. He tried to hold it back, he really did, but Yoongi just looked so funny when he got like this. His eyebrows raised high and expressive, a deep crease set in his forehead from his straining, and a twitching jaw that Jimin just wanted to poke every time it jumped.

Yoongi shot him a look, unimpressed at his snickering. "It's not funny, Jimin."

Yet the side of his lips slowly but surely being tugged upwards, said otherwise.

"It's not funny! Jimin, dont make me laugh when I'm trying to be stern with you."

Jimin finally let himself break into a fit of giggles, before clambering onto his Yoongi's lap with a well faked pout. "Kitten, don't be angry at Jiminie."

Yoongi sighed as he wrapped his arms back around their favourite place, Jimin's waist, and locked his wrists behind his back. "Yoongi isn't angry, baby. Not really. He's just worried and wants to force feed you a months worth of food in one sitting."

"Now Kitten's being silly."

Yoongi raised a brow. "You're right, Jimin. He is being silly. But Jiminie was being silly by not eating anything all day too! But you know how long it took me to make that breakfast for you! I was really hoping you would enjoy it but now I know you just threw it in the trash."

Jimin began to fiddle with the neck of Yoongi's shirt, tugging and pulling at it before deciding how he should answer. "Was too nervous to eat anything, Kitten. Honest, I-I, just couldn't think about food with everything else going on. I'm really sorry, Kitten."

Yoongi was about to speak up when he was interrupted by an especially loud groan right from Jimin's stomach. "Ah, well we better get something in there quickly, hm? Before your tummy gets any angrier. Yoongi's not feeling up to a fight right now."
