"So tell me again why in tha' world are we out here collecting gas?" Tyrone questioned as he kept an eye out for anything suspicious. It was 1:30 in the afternoon and everyone seemed to be on high alert.
"Because I'm almost positive dat we're gonna have to take it to tha' hills soon," August replied trying to get the radio to work.
"Huh?"
"Make a run for it, I know dem damn zombies or day walkers, whatever ya wanna call 'em are on their way to us."
Tyrone looked around nervously. "We're in the middle of nowhere, there's no way they can be close,"
August chuckled. "Yeah, okay, I watched too many damn movies and still ain't even prepared for dis bullshit,"
"No one is ever prepared for something like this, no matter how many movies you watch, or how much training you go through when the pressure hit, all knowledge goes out the window." Tyrone stated.
August disagreed. "Nah, when tha' pressure hit, I shot back. Fight or flight, I chose to fight as I'm sure others probably attempted to do. I know what to do, I just ain't think dis shit would actually happen." He clarified.
"I feel that."
Once the tank filled, August went ahead and filled up a few gasoline jugs.
"What time is it?" Tyrone asked plugging his phone up to the charger.
"Almost two," August answered looking over his shoulder briefly.
"I'm about to grab some snacks, my stomach talking to me."
"Nigga we got food at tha' hous-"
"Language, Alsina!"
Looking down at Tyrone's phone, August reached over and powered it off then shook his head. "A world where technology tells us what to do and say, how great."

"I was starting to get worried," Natasha smiled faintly at August as she tried to help with the supplies but he stopped her.
"He thought he saw something behind the snack aisle." Tyrone laughed.
The ladies stared curiously at August.
"Nigga my eyes-"
"Mr Alsina!"
"Fuck youuuu, bitch." he dragged "I thought her annoying ass only spoke when spoken to?" He shook his head, heading into the living room with the stuff.
"Apparently that word triggers a damn signal," Leah whispered and he shook his head.
"Siri?" He called.
"Mr. Alsina." She replied.
"Power off."
"Power off." She repeated before shutting down.
"Hate dat damn thing, if I never used her in my past life why would I use her now?" He furrowed his brows as he took a seat and Amelia sat next to him.
